EXTENDED HIGHLIGHTS
The highlights are finally out!! (Apologies for the delay)
Another home game and still undefeated at Adswood park!
This week we welcomed Harehill Tavern to Adswood Park in what promised to be an exciting game.
The lads got off to a bit of a slow start with a few good chances that just couldn’t be put away.
Harehill were strong however Kyle Foley @kylefoley98 finally opened up scoring making it 1-0 to the Wizards.
The rest of the first half was shaky to say the least but the lads managed to hang on to their 1-0 lead with a strong back line dictated by Kyle Dooley @kyle_dooley_1997 ensuring that there were no late 1st half goals to make things level.
Going into the 2nd Half the lads knew they needed to settle and focus on simple forwards plays which is exactly what they did.
With a much better half for the lads there were 5 more goals to come our way from Danny Miller @danny_m09 , Kyle Foley @kylefoley98 , Kieran O’Connell @kieranjackoconnell , Joe Lynch and Luke Newsham @luke_j_newsh .
A clean sheet for our keeper Joe Matthew @joe_matthew and a great 6-0 win for the lads.
Really impressed this week with their ability to settle and control the pace of the game, working as a solid team despite being up against some great player in the Harehill team.
