this is about Kayne West, Kim K, Katie Perry, streaming companies, DJ that try to sue her, people say she can't dance and more. This was on her reputation album but she does perform it on the Eras Tour.
I love that you’re honest. That’s real! I like this song only because of the meaning of it and how ICONIC it was when this video came out. I don’t think I would like this song without following her for years and knowing thr background for ALL the easter eggs and stuff.
Tip: look it up before you do the reaction and some of these will make a lot more sense as you’re watching them. You can just Google “what is -- song about” or if Rep it’s usually who is it about. Swiftie lore is posted about her songs, especially dis tracks.
There are sooo many references and easter eggs in this one. There is a grave with her Pen name for the song she wrote for Calvin Harris after she broke up with him. Then she says "tilted stage" and kanye had a tilted stage at his concert, the snakes are because Kim K called her a snake after she edited the video and made Taylor look like a liar (this is before the unedited full clip which showed Kim was actually lying and Taylor wasn't) but the whole snake narrative is about this. The feast reference and grammy are for Katy Perry because they had beef at the time. The old Taylors are for the media and how they portray her in the negative always so she says the old Taylor is dead and the new one adopts the Rep persona. References to Karma the lost album in the actual vault when she broke in, its loaded with many more.
Yeah let’s not forget when Kim announced that it was national snake day 🐍 and that they have a holiday for “everyone”…we need to come up with a specific holiday for her! Lol 😂
Watch her Reputation Tour live videos. Intro/ Ready for It, Don’t Blame Me, and then the live version of this. The latter two are also good in the Eras Tour.
I think don’t blame me from the reputation tour was better. Can hear better vocals from background singers and you can tell they purposely focused on it more since it was off the reputation album.
Kim K and Kenya. When they said she approved the use of her name in his song and of course it was edited to make it seem like she did; but she said yes to it not knowing he would take credit for her career and calling her a B and also putting a “Taylor dummy look alike naked in his video).Kim referred to her as a snake and Taylor took it the snake back. Of course it came out with the truth after years. She named a song in her album thanK you aIMee (Kim) and it’s a diss track. Then released a new version of TTPD album the day Kenya did putting her at number one and him far down. And renamed the song thank You aimE (YE) 😅. Song is healing but brutal.
Thanks for reacting to this one and keeping it honest. In my opinion, Swifties enjoyed this video in the context of not seeing her for a year, after she had been attacked by Kim, Kanye and Calvin and the *massive* storm that followed on (social) media. Lyrics wise I don't think this is her best.
Really appreciate the honest reaction. This song grew on me and the lyrics "The world moves on another day another drama, drama but not for me, not for me all I think is karma. Kanye tilted the stage in the beginning.
This is her comeback after disappearing after the Kanye and Kim phone call entrapment which turned out to be the last straw. I love it for what it is and what it represents but it is not on my constant replay list. Understanding the why of it is essential to be able to enjoy it as she possibly intended. This is a track with a purpose. Also, you’re not obligated to like every song of hers.
Definitely not my favorite either, but I do like her live performances of it and I respect everything that went into the video, especially the end of it. I prefer reactors who are honest, yet respectful!!! You are that, for sure, and I appreciate that!
Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (1989 World Tour) REACTION Drops @3:30pm

I highly recommend the Live Era's Tour Performance of this song!

@MichelleLyn84 national rat day ? 🐁 🪤
You need to see and hear the tour version - reputation or eras and you will understand it
Watch her Reputation Tour live videos. Intro/ Ready for It, Don’t Blame Me, and then the live version of this. The latter two are also good in the Eras Tour.
Yessss
The best is the eras tour but you need to listen to don’t blame me into this song on the eras tour

If you will, do The Eras Tour version where it starts with Don’t Blame Me and it will transition into Look What You Made Me Do! 🎉

Really appreciate the honest reaction. This song grew on me and the lyrics "The world moves on another day another drama, drama but not for me, not for me all I think is karma. Kanye tilted the stage in the beginning.

Great review. ❤

You should react to any or all of the following: Maroon, Exile, Dress, False God, Death by a Thousand Cuts live from Paris
Hey im just trying to stay alive over here lol
Definitely not my favorite either, but I do like her live performances of it and I respect everything that went into the video, especially the end of it. I prefer reactors who are honest, yet respectful!!! You are that, for sure, and I appreciate that!
You can’t love them all, at least not honest
