That look they both shared in realisation when Taylor first sang “only bought this dress so you could take it off” 🤣🤣 I’m laughing so hard
i just find it cool to point out that the sound of taylor clearnig her throat in the beggining of Ready for It, the first track in reputation, is to symbolize someone who's about to speak up after a long time being silent. This is a direct reference of her context at that time, since she went out of public eye for a year before releasing that album because of the scalation of the kanye situation and everybody, including the mass media, deciding she was a bad person
Taylor used to do these things called “Secret Sessions” where she would invite fans to her house to listen to the album before it came out. When she played Dress her mom would leave the room because… well, you know 😂
So much of the fandom hates end game but it’s such a good song 😭 reputation is a no skip album for me. It’s so good. I would love to see you guys react to Ed Sheeran’s song “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You” if you’ve never heard it before. It’s from his first album and he raps on it
Ready For It is about the insecurity she felt falling in love with Joe Alwayn knowing that the fact that she is extremely famous could be a problem for this relationship. She is talking about plans she has for hiding in islands, about running away with him. when she says "touch me and you'll never be alone", it's because she knows the guy is gonna be followed by paparazzi all the time. Never be alone. Always hiding, always running, and she's asking if he's ready to deal with this.
I never got it why I like (why we like) watching new people react and then fall in love with Taylor’s music. Some do it for clout 🥴 and we see through it. Now I get it - WE WANT TO REEXPERIENCE DISCOVERING HER FOR THE FIRST TIME THROUGH THEM. We want to relive hearing the music for the first time with them. ❤

I love "dress" and the concert version is just everything. When she says " say my name and everything just stops" the silence and black out after it is the moment.
Btw, Ed Sheeran's part in End Game is about the time he met up with an old childhood friend, Cherry Seaborn at one of Taylor's Fourth of July parties whom he later went on to marry and have two kids with.

Reputation is the REAL love album. It's all about how when she met Joe her rep was so bad but she was ready to be with him no matter what, and he was able to see her for who she really is. This album was her liberation from all the shit that was being said about her, and in the end Taylor just getting her power back.

I love how Taylor says smth in the beginning of the song to make you think, uses beautiful lyrics to explain what she means, then says it again at the end now that you understand it. She a lyrical genius
