Most Definitely! Got to see them so many times between 92-02 in and around Winston-Salem, NC (where I'm from) and all the way to Richmond, VA. Those were the days, for sure, and I miss them as well...and I was 20-30 years younger as well...lol. Good Times!! 🙂🤘
@@brandinbarnett1463 Holy crap! I do remember also seeing them at Ziggy's back in 98 or 99, when they were touring/promoting Over The James. I unfortunately can't remember who else played with them now though. Would be awesome if we both had been there and possibly even crossed paths. Those were good times back then. 🙂🤘
Truth be told......only bands like avail can keep people lovin their music so much they just break out into pits , stage diving, ya know feelin the music? Being alive? They have not changed or given up anything over the years as they all get old.......dont make em like this for a long time now ........good to see a piece of my teen years is alive and well in the present day.....need to tour more guys, put out new songs.....plenty of ideas to write about in the world as of late......#timbarry
Played that city EVERY TOUR!!! even got 2 tattoos there one tour! I'm from Lexington KY originally but got to escape to FL!!! Thank gawd! You ever heard of Louis "the pirate" concert promoter?
@@xx7secondsxx Does anyone remember ' The Maze' in Louisville? I think it used to be a lazer tag spot waaay back in the day. That's where we used to go see them. Rodan, Loppybygami, Evergreen, Endpoint, Sancred, etc. etc...( @xx7secondsxx I was too young to know anyone putting on shows back then)
I'm 40 yrs old and grew up going to punk rock shows at hole in the wall basements, where you would hit the ceiling when moshing and the perspiration of the pit would drip from the walls. I thought I would never see that raw, young energy again, until I went to see Turnstile a few days back, in a large venue in LA. You would think it was the opposite scenario, but... The only phones I saw were the ones flying in the air, rocketing from the mosh. All kids the age we were back in the 90's, only there for the fun; I'm telling you: a nostalgic sight for an old punk like me.
I too am from W-S, NC and they were also my first band to see live back in 92...I was just 13yo at that time...such great times. After that got to see them so many times between 92-02 in various places throughout NC to VA, miss those years/times so much. 🙂🤘
So groovy, wish this band came in Canada. Cool to see the middle aged clean cut dudes who used to listen to these guys going at it! Little guy on the stage, awesome dad bet that little guy is going to remember that for the rest of his life!
If you got to see avail in the 90s you truly witnessed one of the best bands in there peak. I miss those days!!!!

I know what you mean, but they haven't lost anything. As great as they ever were.
So true!
I drove 10 hours for this show with my dad and uncles. I’ve been a fan of avail since I was born and this was hands down my favorite show to date.
Great video George...Loved the quality of this one!
Damn, this looks like the good old days at shows. Everyone's actually in the moment. Not just recording on their phone.

I read somewhere they played with Endpoint many times I think in Kentucky.
Oh yea. The good old brewery days!!!
@@shabazz717 I'm not sure anything can touch those days for me. A lot of great bands and a lot of great times!

The energy at that concert is unreal, not a million people with phones standing stationary, I haven't seen stage diving in years

This brings so many fond memories of listening to the band's music in hot summer.
Looks like the boys from Richmond still have it. Thanks for the work George!
I am 50, I've being listening to Avail in the 90s, I guess my son will be more or less like the kid appearing on stage during Sanctuary 13.
First band first show ever WSNC 10/92. Make me feel like I'm back in the day.
