- The OnePlus 7T Pro has just launched, but how does it compare versus the original OP7 Pro? Here's a side-by-side dive into the camera tech, speed, battery life (and Warp Charge tech), software features and other specs. Which one is best for you?
In a lot of respects, there's little difference between this new handset and the first OnePlus super-premium device. The performance has been boosted with a Snapdragon 855 Plus platform, while the battery has been boosted to a 4085mAh cell. There's still no wireless charging but the Warp Charge feature has been upgraded to the new 30T tech.
The OnePlus 7T Pro serves up the same 90Hz display, as well as the same triple-lens camera hardware. However, you now get a few new photo and video features, including an updated Nightscape mode and fresh Super Macro tool.
This latest Pro also offers Android 10 out of the box, overlaid with OnePlus' OxygenOS 10.0. This delivers a dark mode, updated gesture navigation and lots of other feature tweaks, although these will all come to the standard OP7 Pro in time.

Exactly why I'm not bothered that I bought the 7 pro a few weeks before the launch of the 7t pro, price has barely changed.

You can get one second hand for around 350-450. I got one for 380.

1+7 (3700mah) vs 7T (3800mah)-- meh...

@@revo2999 all that software stuff is coming to the 7pro, the only note worthy difference is just the battery and I guess the Snapdragon chip but sometimes it does worst than regular one anyway
@@daddyethanVery minimal differences between 855 and 855+ chip. One recent video showed the regular 855 outperformed the 855+ in terms of app opening test and internet website opening.
This man is an insane in introducing the spec of the phones and he's a fan of anime and I like it.

To make them different 😅 (seriously). And both 7Pro and 7t Pro are literally the same 😆 the difference are too minor to consider the phones different. OnePlus committed to a 6month phone release so they had to release the device's in order to keep their promise. I have the OnePlus 7 Pro and I'll be keeping it a while. I normally upgrade every 5 months until I got the 7 Pro. Longest I ever held onto a phone. That 90Hz changed my life.
@@ChesterFoster it's the camera. For most people, what was holding back OnePlus was their camera quality, so now they have made it much better. Especially night mode and video stabilization I think, as well as the new macro mode (which is really cool).
@@black_star6077 didnt software updates fix it? Besides you can also use gcam to improve it, sorry I dont own this phone yet but gcam usually improves the pics and vids

Even if there were mayor changes it wouldn’t justify upgrading from a 6 month old phone.

Summary of differences at 8:26 - slight performance boost, camera boost (really?) and battery boost. The rest of the video basically shows how similar they are. Oh, you forgot the colour... Can you please change the title to "what's NOT changed"? ;-)

Think another way: The 7 Pro had the same launch price as the 7T Pro, for the base models - but they changed 6->8gb RAM and 128->256GB ROM.

Everyone seems to be mad that nothing has changed. The point of their "T" models is to improve, not majorly redesign. The OnePlus 7t, as an example, is trying new things.

I had the 7 Pro then sold it for a good price and bought the 7T Pro. I can tell no difference apart from the macro photo mode. Well, the 7T Pro charges noticeable faster as well and the 855 Plus feels somehow more power efficient (I’m getting about 15% more battery life in comparison). All in all, I wouldn’t say it worth the upgrade unless you get the 7T Pro for the money you’d get for selling your 7 Pro.

The macro mode is OxygenOS10 feature, not exclusive for 7t.
7pro on OS10 also has it.

Just ordered my 7 Pro in the black friday sale
One major game changing diff is having a snapdragon 855 plus....it doesn't just have slightly higher CLOCK speed also it has X50 chipset which enables it to support 5G mmwave...it's a key point cause it really helps u manage to use this phone instead of buying any of the models which is gonna come later like 8 or 9

That's a laser for fast focusing for the camera. 7pro has it also but it is hidden next to other camera lenses. I have no idea why would they make it like this, more visible

A question that nobody is answering: The 7T Pro has the 855+ processor but only goes upto 8 GB RAM whereas the 7 Pro has 855 processor but can go upto 12 GB of RAM... which one will perform better ? Newer processor or 4 GB more RAM ?
