They're both scary-ass strikers, so it could go either way. However, looking at the numbers, I'm going with Jones. Jones has a ten inch reach advantage and has finished all but 2 of his fights. Bader has only finished one of his fights since he has "officially" been a UFC fighter. Jones has had two more fights in the UFC than Bader giving him a slight edge on experience. Jones' ability was so obvious, he did not have to fight his way into the UFC as Bader did. Jones FTW

Jones biggest advantage is his reach, I mean he can do his long and fast spinning strikes with less ease because he can reach them while they have to chase him to get in close. But Jones will have to be careful when he faces a guy that is a top notch striker because they can definatly find a spot on his chin. Love see rampage vs Jones.
This should be a good fight. In terms of wrstling, they are almost equal. Bader may have a slight edge but I wouldn't be surprised if Jones is just as good. In the stand up striking, Jones has a the decisive advanage. Plus Jones is taller & larger fighter. Jones has destroyed every fighter put in his way, whereas Bader had a tough time with lil Nog. I see Jones getting the KO in round 2.

Bader is the better athlete, very eager and focused inside the octagon. Though I like watching Jon Jones in action, at times he seems reckless often giving his back to opponents. Jon Jones rather look good than effective. I'd put my money on Bader.

Top that with Jones' big striking advantage, this doesn't look good for Bader. But whoever wins this fight is in my opinion more of a contender than either Machida, Rampage, or Rashad. And if Shogun won't be back 'till march, though I like Rashad, I think he should fight the winner of Jones vs. Bader, just to make the title matchup as best as possible.

Why is Dana White always talking about fights being a "complete stand up war"? I don't think this fight has to be a stand up war in order for it to be exciting. This is MMA and i want the fight to be a grappling match also because i don't think there is a more exciting Grappler in MMA right than Bones Jones. Dana white perpetuates that mentality from many MMA fans who hate when fights turn into Grappling matches. He thinks its boring himself. I know he has to promote fights but that's just dumb.
