I dont understand who gonna let his phone drain like that i charge my mobile ones in day Because most of us don't use the phone continuously for nine hours or less
As a Samsung Galaxy S10+ owner myself, the Androids dont really age as well. In a couple months, you'll be getting 5 hours max of battery life. I know. Then they also progressively get worse as in security, speed, and camera quality. Never buying an Android again. I'll be sure to buy the iPhone 12 next year. I dont feel like the upgrade to the iPhone 11 is worth it to me. So far I have not heard the same from iPhones, and I have a couple friends with iPhones that are over 4 years old and are still perfect since they got it new. Screen on the S10 is also EXTREMELY fragile. You accidentally scratch it with your fingernail, just like that you're stuck with that annoying crack or scratch until you get a new phone or you replace the screen. Never again am I buying an Android product. I have only heard good things from Apple. The only reason I got the S10 was because of the Galaxy Buds promotion.
Two of those phones run at 90 hz, and three of them run at a quad HD+. I think if you bump them down to 1080 and 60 hz. I think it would be a different story. I guess that battery test it's better to have an inferior display... by like a lot.

If you think about it, the pixel has a 90hz refresh rate and a small battery and basically came in second. The note 10 drained a lot quicker than the pixel and I don't know how it won over the pixel. Regardless, the pixel 4xl could be an excellent option when considering a new phone

Wat i have found is.. In the long run... Pixel phones r very reliable... It's gets better with time
Fast forwarding through the video I realized right away that the iPhone screen isn't nearly as bright; whites aren't white. The screen was dimmed almost through the whole test. It does do a great job preserving battery while recording though.
Jayson Thomas its the “true tone” feature, all are set to the same brightness at the start I believe
Yep, its the True Tone feature.
@@alexdjafer7463 my friend told me it does this under heavy loads to help prevent the phone from getting to hot. Most people don't push their phones this hard any way.
@@alexdjafer7463 - the Pixel 4 also has a true tone feature
It looks like the screens weren't set to the same brightness, the iPhone screen looked like the brightness was set lower. And I'm saying this as an iPhone user myself. You should get a light meter, to check that all of the phones are set to the same brightness. Like 200 nits or something.
XEETECHCARE you let us down! How could you not disable auto brightness and invest in a light meter to set all phones to the same Nits?? Even smaller RUclipsrs do this test more accurately.... Everyone noticed iPhone was very dim and OnePlus was near max brightness... Screen brightness is the number 1 battery drain
It has True Tone on so it going to look better in real life and it might just be the camera lens but it a fair test
@@billnguyen9337 I use iPhone and i hate true tone, it does nothing more than making the colors more warm to reduce eyestrain depending on ambient lighting in exchange for color accuracy. Artist turn this off. And this has nothing to do with battery life. Also read pinned comment iPhone reduces brightness coz it was overheating. You cannot accurately test without a light meter and auto-brightness on, period. Why is there an ce and do not trash icons at the bottom of the iphone? i have not seen that on any of the photos nor videos of it.
No mention about the display size of each phone? And if you check 1:46 you can clearly see a difference in brightness of each phone and the Note 10 and 7T Pro are significantly brighter than the Pixel and iphone which give the later two an advantage.
Bro , you should have used a device to measure the nits of brightness of these devices , for fair test .🥺
Yeah what a joke 😂
These phones should automatically do it with their own brightness adjuster. Do you have a nits measurement Everytime your phone adjusts it's brightness?

Quite astonished by the Pixel 4XL. I was expecting it to tank long before any of the other 3. I heard its battery life was shite but it seems to be ok. If they dropped the price by a few hundred quid , Id buy it

Agreed. I think this video has convinced me to buy Pixel 4 XL. I was only worried about battery life (but still kinda would prefer the fingerprint scanner not be missing).
@@GodDamnit7711 yeah I think fingerprint scanner is more important as well
That's because every RUclipsr has been biased. Whether it's because they get higher viewership or personal preference, they've been beating up the pixel phones and creating a negative perception in people's minds.
1) iPhone 11 Pro (3.969 mAh) = 09:13

The only reason I got the S10 was because of the Galaxy Buds promotion.
set all to 60Hz and and stop the iphone from auto dimming the brightness and then see the magic!

It probably is just true-tone on the iPhone that makes it look more dim.
then whats the point of having 90hz as a feature?
Pixel 4 did better than all other phones with its minimum 3700mah battery and battery hungry 90hz screen.
Yeah. At the very least this video has made me not regret my pre-order.
Two of those phones run at 90 hz, and three of them run at a quad HD+. I think if you bump them down to 1080 and 60 hz. I think it would be a different story. I guess that battery test it's better to have an inferior display... by like a lot.

With all these RUclips reviewers complaining about the pixel battery I was worried about getting one... but seeing this I'm really impressed with how the pixel stayed neck-and-neck with the note until the very end where the note lasted about what three minutes longer, that ain't nothing.
I know all those RUclips reviewers were mostly talking about the smaller pixel 4... but jeez they made it sound like the pixel across board has terrible with battery life.
I I agree the smaller pixel could use a bigger battery but at the same time you have to understand that it's a smaller phone likewise it needs to have a smaller battery. But in general I would rather have a little bit thicker phone with a larger battery, I just wish she's phone manufacturers would get that more.

Iphone looks pretty dim. It probably had some battery saver enabled. Still i knew the results before watching this. The better the screen faster the device dies

@@RitaGreen all the droids won they did really good in a biased test
ritag82 pixel was at 60hz, its only 90 when you look at it or are playing games. The iPhone either had True Tone, a blue light filter or the screen lowered brightness because it was too hot. The results are valid, except the pixel should’ve done worse if always at 90hz
If you think about it, the pixel has a 90hz refresh rate and a small battery and basically came in second. The note 10 drained a lot quicker than the pixel and I don't know how it won over the pixel. Regardless, the pixel 4xl could be an excellent option when considering a new phone
