Great racing but why is the commentator talking in miles in a 5000 m race? No idea what he's on about ;-)
For us locals, these events screw up getting around to the point you cant.
How frequent are those events that you feel you have to come here and complain about it?
It's cool only one person ran the women's race

Galvan destroyed the field. There used to be world class runners and times years ago. Once the big prize $ went away, so did the world class runners. Now you have elite runners.

It’s called worlds fastest to bring attention in. If anyone at a park run is breaking 14, they are an elite runner.

Poor coverage of women’s race,embarrassing
This race every year getting slower and slower. 13”50 few years ago you make close to last place. Course has changed for better views from spectators putting performance & fast times in second palce.
Looks like a race for marketing &$$$ nothing more . Too bad . Not the Worlds fastest 5k anymore 😢
It's a shame that the coverage spent about 75% of the men's race, showing just the females. People want to see the best runners please. If you want to show the end of the women's race after the men are done fine, but don't omit the coverage of the top race to show the slower women.
They usually have one camera 📷 so since there was a big gap they weren't showing second and third. The men had a pack. Cool it with the Marxist feminist conspiracies. You go and film next year hero 😂
"worlds fastest 5k" 🤣typical Americans. I could name 5 faster courses in the uk. The first 132 finisher at the armagh 5k went under 15 minutes back in February with the winner in 13:37.
I wanna say is the prize money, east africans runners and their agents go where the money is at, maybe $5G is not much or worth it to sweat for.
