I was into ham radio in the 1960’s and often heard about this legendary receiver. Just one look at the various functions (selectivity, passband tuning etc. ) and you know it was in a class by itself and probably would measure up very well today
Why were you listening to WWV in SSB/CW mode instead of AM mode? Also: if/when you properly re-align the receiver, you will be impressed by how much better the receiver then performs.
