Just received my 1st Collins receiver.....so well made, from some 68 years ago.....No alignment needed....replace several tubes, cleaned switches and replaced power cord.....
I was into ham radio in the 1960’s and often heard about this legendary receiver. Just one look at the various functions (selectivity, passband tuning etc. ) and you know it was in a class by itself and probably would measure up very well today
