Great video..Love the Gold Dust Twins! I do notice the Multimeter on the left side pegging. looks like you have the meter selector switch in the PA Grid position. 73...
Gordonseries385: Agreed: The meter can take the punishment but excessive grid current, which in turn can cause high screen current, can be very hard on the pair of 4CX250B finals in the KWS-1. And yes..Great sounding CW. 73
Mike, That's one fine looking Collins station in "St. James Gray" Thanks for stopping by the Collins Pre Net today. Nice CW QSO and they indeed sound great! 73's Kevin/w2rkj Pre-Net Host.
Wonderful station! I may be wrong, but I think there is a chance you may be overdriving your TX a bit, as the grid current is apparently pretty high so the needle is hitting the upper stop of your scale as you transmit. I believe grid current at 3/4 or about of the scale would already mean full power out on CW mode. Just guessing... and compliments again! 73 EA4BB
Dear Micheal, May i ask your kind help ?? please can you add the procedure for tune & load with the setting Kws1 and 75A-4 . Please ! 73 de is0ivg / Alberto
