Not really. Dive attacks like Z Achilles's z dive should be a bit effective in the anime. Seeing as touching the barrier is a big mistake. Bit as for real life probably a very heavey right spin attack combo cuz ya know...it... sucks
Um no. Just use a Beyblade that has right spin and is a stamina type. Just outspin Endbringer because he cant hit you and Vex Lucius just has poor stamina because of the 2B Chassis.
Lain’s story is one of the most interesting and well thought out backstories. And as we progress through, we actually see that he has a soul purpose of trying to defeat all of the legendary bladers to be satisfied with him and his resonance.

He has an interesting character developement, and he's the only one who evolves through this season. I always think of him as main character just like Hyuga and Hikaru. Lain was not my favorite character at first but only because he was beating all the great bladers while just a rookie. But the fact that he was trained to focus by Shu makes him better. Shu is still the best but Lain was was interesting. This video is hilarious!!!

If you really think about it Lain was the one who got the lightning bey first so in that case he is the protagonist first hand. He lost his way afterwards being power hungry so afterwards it's a different story.

It was also about Lain finding his true flare and trying to satisfy himself because of his obsession. He found a new perspective in beyblade in the end of the series. Lain is overhated, one kid says that he had "plot armor" and the rest of the fans mimic'd what they said, its like that with every new character that defeats an old character, even i used to say Lain had plot armor, but then i realized "oh wait, he was trained by Shu"
A very solid point that I myself did think of for a little while, and since there's a lot to take in, I won't say much as I still need to get my thoughts together. All I really need to say are the following. Sparking arguably would've been cooler if Lane were the protagonist, for pretty much all the reasons you listed and then some. As for what I would do if I came across Lane myself - let's say I'm just walking down the street, minding my own business, and then I see Lane walking down the opposite direction - most likely I wouldn't give him the time of day and just keep going, simply because that's what I always do. 🤣🤣

First Uranus is a bit more challenging than Vex Lucius as the barrier can easily be drained. First can be beaten by having the defense advantage. The barrier on Vex is really interesting against opposite spin but if you have a speedy attack type like Super Hyperion, the barrier would cease in seconds. And endbringer is a bit tougher as the shield drop would be quite the damage. But can be beaten just by pushing it aside and make it hit the tornado ridge.
If Lean/Lane is battling me with my own Bey (I won't say the name) I will mostly understand his abilities and use it to counter it. But if he finds out before I do, he'll counter mine. All I have to do is to fight Lucifer/Lucius from above by using the slope.

Lane literally is garou with a beyblade Like check that lane and Hikaru panel just like garou and darkshine in the opm manga Also lane's hairstyle and clothing really have some resemblance on garou's
I understand what you mean but they should have expanded more on his character. What is his backstory? Where did his evil flare came from? Why does he hate shu? I liked his development I would prefer him as the protagonist more than the two brothers honestly. I liked his development but I don't really think his character development is the best I think it is shu 's. Also I would have loved it if they showed us more of shu and lane since it gave them both character development. Shu 's help for Lane came for to reasons selflessness and selfishness. Selflessness when he was red eye he was suffering and it was obvious it was hard for him. Selfishness he hated himself after being red eye and even before red eye he had insecurities. He wants to feel better by making an achievement. If he changed Lane he will feel better about himself and he won't be afraid of becoming red eye again.
It's my hope they will one day revisit these concepts. I think they actually listen to their fans. They've included so many Beyblade parts that people were asking for like bearing', and other parts like Beyblade layers

I honestly wanted him to be the mc of super Kings instead of the two twins because they just felt like valt and aiger clones Hikaru is like valt and hyuga is kinda like aiger I don't know I just saw him as valt clones. Super king in my opinion is the best season after evolution and burst.
Okay so let's give Lain his ultimate evolution: BU Barricade Lucifer. Now he'd wipe almost all Left Spin beys, but lose to Right Spins. Plot Wise: Lain would have teamed up with Phelix Payne, becoming a superior tag team. However, my head canon would have Phi come back to claim Phoenix back, destroying both BU Barricade Lucifer and Prominence Phoenix.
I think, at least in the anime series, that Lain is one of the worst Beyblade antagonists along with Arthur. I think his version of the manga is better, but I’m not really sure because I haven’t read the whole thing.

Lane is the main character because he created the first sparking Beyblade called First Uranus.
