They ended up using the same combo (at least in the video I saw), using drift. Then again, Steven and Brendan may have a stronger or better launch than me 😅
I’d like to think that Free is just messing with his first opponent’s who either haven’t seen fafnir or is just messing with a blader that has seen fafnir but not the stronger evolved version in the anime. Even Fumiya does this so it might be a way to mess around with their opponent. Also it may not be allowed in tournaments in the anime because he only soft or hand spins his bey in tournaments and never really just leaves it there maybe because of the rules. Not sure but as always free is awesome and great video!
Moral of the story : SLASH VALKYRIE IS THE HARDEST HITTING ATTACK TYPE BEY IN THE WORLD JK 🤣 . BTW I think this maybe the answer but yeah It's all Free's strategy to win . RIP FUMIYA KINDO 🙃

Didn't Fumiya also do the revival just once and never again? Also Spin Revival is good but it's not all too reliable. Another factor is the level of Impact from an opponent. If the impact is hard ENOUGH but not TOO hard, one strike is really all it takes to completely power Vanish up

It is because FREE CANT DO IT because if in the actual tournament it will be an automatic spin finish unlike just soft spinning it where it actually spins that is why he did not do it in any other tournaments
Free's jump start shouldn't even be allowed because with his beyblade not spinning, then it's like if he had already lost by spin finish before his opponent even launches. Technically, it should immediately be a round victory by spin finish for his opponent as soon as his opponent's bey lands in the stadium while spinning, since Fafnir was the first bey in the stadium to not be spinning.
Careful with the titles dude, that can get Free fans triggered 😆🤣😆🤣 But probably appreciate if that is the reason why Free lost to Bell...the heat affected the rubber. Btw, does that mean that Lui is stronger than Free? Cuz Free lost to Bell without the L armor, and Bell lost to Iliya without the armor...does that mean Free's weaker than her too? Ugh I've made vanish burst a sparking bey after being jumpstarted your not doing it right you need a heavy beyblade that has attack and no need for heat

I've don't see him launching his bey often, and he somewhat keeps relying on his Bey's spin stealing ability, Bladers like Shu and Lui didn't even rely so much on their Bey's abilities in season 1 and they were crazy strong. Also, Free's launch doesn't look as strong as other Bladers such as Valt, Shu, Lui, even Drum and Aiger, all those guys have Better launches than Free. And there's also a small chance he might get an injury due to Blading too much. So yeah, that's why i think Free de la Hoya's weak.

It really depends on the driver used. Bigger surfaces can keep the bey standing outwards, such as Rise, Drift or Zone'+Z.

I would never do something like this at a tournament just because it's not worth the risk.
I think you have to bring a launcher regardless..(maybe with the combo) try a hand spin... but you have to use a launcher vs left spin 🤷♂️🤣

it’s not allowed in actual competitive battles, so yes it’s illegal but that’s not a problem when the battle isn’t competitive
I love experimenting with my beys, and on multiple occasions I was able to make a semi and even a fully consistent deadspin combo
