You just saved my life. I didn't know you could use the terminal to open up multiple instances of one DAW. I'm using StudioOne 7 on stage for playing back backingtracks and struggled with Logic Pro X to do multitrack recording from a x32 rack. I mean, it worked, but i just don't like using Logic. That means i could have 2 instances of Studio One running on the same MacBook Pro. One for recording, the other one for playbacks. (2 separate audio devices of course). THANKS
@@seandelaney272 Yeah, i have some node-projects that i built as a hobby and for home-automation. But i never thought about using the terminal to open 2 instances of the same app. Genius idea. Keep up the great work
Just a suggestion: if you have an electrician, get him to add smart plugs and smart switches to speed up the regular setup process on an isolated network. It did my church wonders by doing that.
I literally just got done doing this to my church. I used stream deck and companion to automate the entire startup process. Lights, Projectors, ProPresenter, Logic Pro, Facebook stream, OBS and Auto Loading the scene I want on my X32. All scheduled to fire 30min before prayer meeting.
