The singer is Hal Carey who also appears in The Six Gun Trail with Tim McCoy. Love Hal and Tim! If you like Hal, you may like Wilf Carter. I cannot find any recordings or more info yet on Hal.
What you fellas noticed was typical during that time. It helped with production time. All the old cowboy films even John Wayne films did this. The main character would wear the same hat and shirt in all or majority of films for that purpose.
I love Tim McCoy movies & thank you for bringing this to us. There is a very similar storyline that stars Tom Tyler with Beth Marion in the 1936 movie 'Phantom of the Range'. Check it out you'll probably enjoy it. n
I can dig it, but I grew up in South Texas, and over in S. Arizona, and believe me, even in the 50s & 60s, there were still many working ranch cowboys!
You should check out Charles Starrett's 'The Durango Kid' movies also~ Smiley Burnett as sidekick, western bands including Bob Wills, and Durango's fights didn't go on & on.
Another great movie with Tim McCoy. Thank you

She: "Is it a ghost?"

At 8:47 There is no way that lady could take that pipping hot radiator cap without burning her hand.
Not only that, but she failed to lock it back down.

tim McCoy and his white 20 gallon hat, damn that's a big tall hat!
Well that's what you get for driving a car in a western movie. 🤠
It looks like there is a splice out of another Tim McCoy picture. Where he flattens the guy in the bar and then the guy tries to draw on him.
automobiles spoil a western movie fo me.
