Great! What tuning do you use in the toms?

What are your Meinl crashes in front, especially the one above the ride. Thanks!

Christophers Reid Hi. I think it was some of the Soundcaster series. I’m not sure to be honest. I don’t use Meinl anymore as I proudly endorse Sabian cymbals.

Jocke Wallgren thank you for your response! I recently discovered Amon Amarth. Your drumming is an inspiration. Thank you!

How do you make the toms to sound like that? Is that an effect, I see no muffling tricks, is it because of the heads or the drums? I have a full birch set but I still cannot get a similar sound

Gabriel Valerio Newly tuned heads and some EQ will take you a long way. :)

I see, any brand and model ? Thats the sound I am looking for

Gabriel Valerio - In this video I think I used Remo Emperor over Remo Ambassador but
I'd recommend you trying Evans G2 over Evans G1. More punch, more tone and more highs than the Remo's.
Mics used here are the Audix D2 (rack toms) and Audix D4 (floor toms).
