Acer Swift 3 Power Jack Repair (Broken DC Charge Port)

In this video, I diagnose and fix an Acer Swift 3 laptop with a damaged power plug. The power cord can be held at a certain angle to get it to power on and charge the battery. This is the classic bad socket connection symptom.

The motherboard must be completely removed to access the soldered-on port. This video shows the complete disassembly, de-soldering of the old jack, and re-soldering of the new one back on the motherboard.
