How to adjust your handbrake 16 Plate Renault Trafic

    This video is not a how to and more what I do.
    this video shows how I adjust my van's handbrake to get the best service life out of braking components such as a handbrake cable & tensioner
    located at the front of the spare wheel carrier on a cross member you should be able to make out the threaded rod and nut which is what you need to adjust with a ratchet ring spanner and rotate clockwise while looking towards the front of the van from under it

    Thanks it’s the same on a Nissan primastar 23 plate swb mine took about 8 full turns and I just fitted new pads yesterday my van does carry a bit of weight , this was the best info on the web and I thank you for having the knowledge and time to share it this is why you tube was invented

I noticed that when I purchased my van, Haynes didn't publish a manual, so many things were down to me to solve and locate. It's helped you, so hopefully, others will find it as well.
