I just got my vintage cards back and my results graded about the same as yours. I did have 7 cards returned, 2 miscuts and 5 minisize !

Thanks for holding the cards closer to the camera and in view. Much better than in your last video. Enjoyed it!

1961 Topps Lou Klimchock in a PSA 7 is currently going for $13 on Ebay. Just about broke even on the grading fee on that one.

Grading fee is at least $15.Add in postage and insurance. Not even close to breaking even. And a PSA6 embossed Richardson sold for $6.50. This guy is clueless.

@@djtsuks863 I don't submit anything to PSA unless it is worth at least $50 in the grade I think it will get. These days, I downgrade by 1 grade due to PSA being ridiculously hard on cards in the past three years.

@@djtsuks863 If it's personal collection who cares, I do the same thing. I use a lot of mine for trade bait , some of use do it for the fun of it and not the money.

They have those other plastic holders that maybe you consider using ( also I have zero clue but how much do they charge to have a card graded ? ) thanks for the video .

What are you doing with all these cards. You must have lots of disposable income cause I have no idea why else you are slabbing all these. Makes for good entertainment though. 👍

I sincerely hope it's being done with found money for nostalgic purposes just to have a personal collection - but even then it would be a lot cheaper to buy the majority of these in these grades (or even higher grades) than what was paid for grading and shipping. If it's for investment/resale, then it's money out the window that will never come back.

Ha! 😀 Good post! You got me to laugh! I mostly agree with you. In retrospect, I probably would have gotten better at judging cards before sending them off. Hopefully I can help some others on some of my weaker decisions. On the other hand, I agree with another comment from a viewer - this is for nostalgic purposes and cards that I collected as a kid (1970's) after mowing yards or trading with friends. That's originally how i got some of the older cards (via trading). So it's fun to see them in slabs. For insurance, I've learned your cards are protected in value if slabbed...if not slabbed and something happens, you only get the 'base-card' value. Even if it was a high quality. Lastly, IMO, at some point, PSA's grading will become very expensive and likely no one in their right mind would slab these types of cards. So I think 10 years from now, some people may want to complete their collections in only slabs and maybe these cards will desirable for them. Until then....happy to provide some entertainment for others. Thx for watching! Cheers!

@@BeeKeeperSportsCards-sr2mz There's nothing wrong with submitting cards you'll lose money on if they have nostalgic value for you. You'll get better at grading with more submissions.

MK = extraneous mark(s) on card - for example, pen mark FYI The 1961 Klimchock isn't his rookie card. His actual rookie is 1960. He just hadn't lost his rookie status yet, so Topps put the designation on his 1961. They could be gosh-awful confusing with stunts like that.

I'm shaking my head watching this video....Grading these 148 cards must have cost you around $2,500+ dollars. You could have invested that money on any number of high grade Hall Of Famers from 1958 to 1979 such as Mickey Mantle,Willie Mays,Nolan Ryan,George Brett etc but instead you graded cards of the likes of Bob Bailey,Jerry Moses and Dave Skaggs! These cards will someday end up polluting the earth in the local landfill because nobody not even the family of these players will want them! Sorry to be so harsh but I can't imagine you not being happier with more valuable cards for that amount of money!

I totally agree. It’s like a car wreck and I can’t stop watching. Whenever somebody can’t pronounce the names of stars, it tells me a lot. It’s like he’s just grading every single card he has. Even the dollar cards.
