I used to play this game when I was young (90's). I just can't remember if I beat the game to the end. I'm sure I did at Contra I, II, Ninja Turtles, Wai-Wai World 2 (my personal favorite), and Double Dragon II. BTW, nice move at 13:53. Honestly I don't really I miss these NES games-I miss what I feel when I play them before. Thanks for posting this. Very nostalgic!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe there's another variant of those bells in color red. I think that gives you an umbrella like side shields and a three directional type of power. I think it never appears once you got those clone like options. This game was too hard for me as a kid. Kudos to you though.

I just tried this on my Walmart Merkury game boy which has a bunch of NES and non-NES games which I think are all bootlegged. I just gave this game a try and it's pretty fun!
Lam Pham When you can sit in an area and regain health automatically, I'll have to call bullshit on that one. The old NES games are far harder because they literally gave you basic instructions on what to do, they just dropped you in. Those games today give you an hour tutorial and hold your hand the entire way. No need to front about modern games. Go try to 1 credit clear the later Twinbee games, and see how hard they are, far harder than the 5 stages and loop forever original Twinbee. The Famicom one is also a bit easier than the arcade original. The only Twinbee I managed to 1CC is the remake of the Gameboy game that was redone on the PSP's Twinbee Portable, in 1 life too, aka 1LC.

If you want to see the normal graphics in that gane. from stages 4 and 5, change mapper from 3 to 87 using any iNES editor.
