My grandfather bought me the Nintendo when I was a kid. He passed away a few days ago, and the nostalgia has got me crying, especially, the melody of the game.

I loved this game.
Also, it took me two decades to realize the country flags at the end of each section corresponds to the antarctic claims, except they change Chile for USA and Norway for Japan. A nice added touch is that the penguin territory corresponds to the unclaimed land.
I remember playing this when my mom was alive. This use to be the best game ever. I was kind of singing the song again and just wanted to see this game again.

Thank goodness for all these new retro systems that allows us to revisit these old games. Most of us have a favorite game that we may have given up as 'lost in time forever.' But these new retro systems are solving the problem! :)

Ah. I remember playing this when I was just a toddler, and had no concept of what winter or places in polar regions look like. I just enjoyed seeing shades of blue and white giving a chill feel all over the place.
This game also reminds me of what I feel whenever Yuletide season's over and January starts. Like you're walking on a snowy road, heading to a floating slab of ice by the shore, and finally drifting away.

oh boy... I was just a little kid back in the days where I used to play this nice game... the music is so cute and calming. I won't forget those mornings listening to this 8-bit silly songs while playing in my room with my family keeping me company... great times. I wish I were a child again, so I could feel the same way at least one more time.

The one thing I think they should've added is when you get to the buildings it should play the anthem of the country.
