Have you noticed that the names of the three supporting characters make the name of the author? Hans (prince Hans) Christian (CHRIStoff) Anderson (ANna)... I just thought it was a bit curious...
Just like people in comas give birth...pregnant women in comas are kept in their coma even if they are brain dead so their body can still host the fetus.
The book what Belle was reading was Cinderella. In the song "Belle" she sings: Oh, isn't this amazing? It's my favorite part because-you'll see. Here's where she meets Prince Charming. But she won't discover that it's him 'til Chapter Three! Prince Charming is Cinderella's prince.
I know this is old but: according to Disney (and by that I mean, the Disney parks), the book is Sleeping Beauty. If you go to new fantasyland in the magic kingdom at Walt Disney world, there is an attraction called Belle's Storytime or something like that. The cast member once asked, gesturing towards a pic of belle reading the book with her monther, what her favorite book is. That's the answer they give.
If I remember correctly, Disney confirmed that the story she was reading was Aladdin. The daring sword fights and prince in disguise part was the biggest clue. Aladdin was in production around the time beauty and the beast was wrapping and they added that scene in the bookshop as a sort of Easter egg
Belle was reaidng cinderella. I have three theories: 1: ok this is OBVIOUS "Here's... where she meets prince charming!" Like really, PRINCE CHARMING OF COURSE! 2: "She won't discover that it's him, till chapter three!" And in the live action Cinderella, she met the prince. But she didnt know it was him. She thought he was an ''apprentice'', just like in the book. Also in the original she said "Wait, no! I need to see the prince!!!" So exactly. And also in Beauty and the Beast, she said "A prince in disguise." So. She HAS to have been reading Cinderella.
I don't know about the script, but in the animated movie, she is actually reading "Le songe d'une femme" (A Woman's dream), an old french book. If you pause and watch the screen you can read the letters. "(...) Ah ! chère Adélaïde, je suis pleine de rêves absurdes et de pensées contradictoires. Je songe à des choses qui me semblent à la fois douces et vilaines, et j'ai des imaginations qui me font rougir en même temps que pleurer! Au moins, je ne m'ennuie pas. Au moins, je ne m'ennuie pas. Je vis plus en une heure de ces journées que l'an passé je ne vécus en toute l'année. Chaque heure me renouvelle, me grandit et m'épanouit. Je me semble un rosier qui fleurirait à vue d'œil ; je suis fraîche et parfumée; je suis légère et forte : j'attends le bonheur. Paul est plus beau que je ne l'avais encore jamais vu. Il est pâle avec de grands yeux pleins de fièvre et d'amour. ..." Kudos to the Disney team for their attachment to details :)
alicia.episode I always figured it was foreshadowing Aladdin, which was being worked on in Disney studios at the time.. as in the book shop she says there are “daring sword fights and a prince in disguise” that doesn’t fit any other Disney movie at the time (besides her own story)
5:32 yeah, but if that explanation doesn't make you happy think of it like this- In greek mythology, Poseidon had a son, named Triton. Triton is the king of the seven seas, and had daughters, Ariel and her sisters. if you think about the fact that greek mythology wasn't bashful of their.....body parts?, and therefore didn't have restrictions on what they drew. sights like that were common doesn't explain why it's in a children's movie, tho
Pocahontas not likly love story: there actually would be romance, well not romance just the guy sexually attracted to her. Back in 1559 if she was 12 years old. She would've already expected to be getting married. Back then little girls used to get married to other settlers to trade for precious items.
Blake Rucker the story is a lot darker then that after she protect John smith she is taken away by Spanish explorers and rapped more than once she later return old to her tribe and dies of a very server illness that had no cure at the time
Actually, Jessi, she was captured by the English, not the Spanish, in 1613. She converted to Christianity and changed her name to Rebecca, She chose to stay with the English even when she had the opportunity to return home. She married John Rolfe in 1614 and had a son. In 1616 the moved to London. They decided to return to Virginia in 1617 but she died in Kent, England. It is unknown what she died of whether it was smallpox or even poison.
If you're a real history buff, you'll know that it wasn't John Smith in Pocahontas. It was John Rolf. Disney effed up and that's why they made an awful sequel with her ending up with John Rolf so they could fix their history mistake
No she met Smith first but only thought of him as a friend and when he left for England she met Rolf whom she fell in love with and traveled to England with him where she died on the way home from an illness
Pocahontas IRL met John Smith when she was around 13 years old. Saved him from being murdered. John Smith then goes back home. Pocahontas is taken to England and marries John Rolfe. And then dies due to an illness. So, the movies did a pretty good job. Just made her older and made two love interests instead of just one. And, let Pocahontas live. 'Real history buff' Psh.
Also, in the early 1600s the fact that Pocahontas was about 12 would not have prevented her from being involved in romance. In fact, in John Lawson's 1709 book "A New Voyage to Carolina", based on his 1701 diary, he describes a tribe where it was common for the girls to engage in prostitution, only stopping when they hit puberty.
There was no evidence even in code that anything happened BEFORE the last dance. I didn't see any "Lady eyes" Lady from lady and the Tramp, gave tramp bedroom eyes after they "accidentally kissed" then at the end of the movie there where 3 or 4 pups
it's basically that, just more toward a "mischevious" nature. like what your parents would say if you were constantly running off and getting into trouble as a kid.
That is the literal translation, but the literal translation doesn't always convey the intended meaning. I personally have no knowledge on this one and don't intend to research it, but all I'm saying it is possible it could have been meant to be taken with a negative connotation. As in: "playful one" being used as we use the word "immature".
Although in frozen it says what size doesn't matter another one can be why they don't have a ballroom with no balls because kids don't understand that, only adults, teens, and tweens
It wasn’t kidnapping. She chose to stay there in place of her father. Kidnapping there’s not choice or anything. It’s also not Stockholm syndrome as everyone likes to think it is. Heytham Abdallah what it means in another way of the adult language that they were referring to was about: size doesn't matter on the "Penis". That's what they were referring to about in an adult kind of way my friend 👍👍
in the lion king it does NOT spell sex it says SFX which stands for special effects. this was put in film because they did such a job with special effects it was a special thanks for the team!! #SFX SPECIAL EFFECTS
The German version of Sleeping Beauty from the Grimm Brothers is much closer to the Disney version. Rapunzel on the other hand...let’s just say someone lost their eyes.
News flash: kids will NEVER understand not see nor give a crap about any sexual subliminal messages in these movie's. Their kids, they drive us parents insane with the songs and thats about it
sleeping beauty is based on the fairytale by Charles perrault... In Europe every fairytale has different variations and Disney has obviously chosen perraults version. maybe a little research about European fairytales would be appropriate
0:56 yeah merida loves the simple things like climbing waterfalls 😂
Eleanor OCalla who doesn’t I climb waterfalls every day
All of the disney stories are based off of older tales. All with "adult" events.

I love frozen, but Anna is totally Schizophrenic
Lexus Sykes how she's young loving and.... Ginger like me
In Zootopia,

says 'but we are good at *multiplying*"
There is no proof that it's meant in a dirty way. For all we know they could've just worded it poorly.
It's a bit of a recurring theme, so it'd be a rather powerful coincidence...
Lol
I noticed that too!
Isn't she a rabbit...?
Rabbits are known for having up to about 20-30 per litter, and they can have a litter year round.
Little side note the word SEX in lion king was supposed to be SFX for sound effects

she was stolen by the white settlers. Look up the native americans version of the story
Blake Rucker the story is a lot darker then that after she protect John smith she is taken away by Spanish explorers and rapped more than once she later return old to her tribe and dies of a very server illness that had no cure at the time

Sheila Jones good work but I already knew
hi
If you're a real history buff, you'll know that it wasn't John Smith in Pocahontas. It was John Rolf. Disney effed up and that's why they made an awful sequel with her ending up with John Rolf so they could fix their history mistake
No she met Smith first but only thought of him as a friend and when he left for England she met Rolf whom she fell in love with and traveled to England with him where she died on the way home from an illness

There was no evidence even in code that anything happened BEFORE the last dance. I didn't see any "Lady eyes" Lady from lady and the Tramp, gave tramp bedroom eyes after they "accidentally kissed" then at the end of the movie there where 3 or 4 pups

Lets not forget that Belle fell in love with her kidnapper.
Stockholm Syndrome
It wasn’t kidnapping. She chose to stay there in place of her father. Kidnapping there’s not choice or anything.
It’s also not Stockholm syndrome as everyone likes to think it is.
Stockholm syndrome happens when a person is legitimately being abused by a capture and they are brainwashed into being a completely different person.
Belle is legitimately the same person she’s always been, still makes all her own choices and decisions, is never abused, is given freedom by her captor, etc
In both original story and Disney movies, she has never fit being a prisoner, or having Stockholm syndrome
Yes, I’ve looked way too far into it. I spent a lot of time delving into it for a paper while at university

What I'm wondering is how did Sleeping Beauty not die from a loss of blood after giving birth to them
Always loved your intro😊😊😊
What does it mean when Anna says foot size doesn't matter
Heytham Abdallah size doesn't matter
Neil Othee thanx
Heytham Abdallah what it means in another way of the adult language that they were referring to was about: size doesn't matter on the "Penis". That's what they were referring to about in an adult kind of way my friend 👍👍
Heytham Abdallah nasty stuff
Domunique Lewis well basically that's what it means, just so you know..
in the lion king it does NOT spell sex it says SFX which stands for special effects. this was put in film because they did such a job with special effects it was a special thanks for the team!! #SFX SPECIAL EFFECTS
Oh ok
Lol great vid the sleeping beauty one was just crazy the same with Rapunzel
Pocahontas does have a son
production snakez her son's name is Thomas
Ew I hate that name :)
You forgot the "Earthquake/honeymoon joke" in Aladin.
no they didnt
That is awesome!
The German version of Sleeping Beauty from the Grimm Brothers is much closer to the Disney version. Rapunzel on the other hand...let’s just say someone lost their eyes.
It was Cinderella step sister who lost their eyes.
SFX PEOPLE OMG
Yeah they don't know anything
Sofia
thank you. someone else sees that!
Belle was reading Aladdin
"Merida is an exceptional archer."
Exceptional? EXCEPTIONAL? SHE IS AN AMAZING ARCHER!
You do know the meaning of exceptional is unbelievably good or outstanding right
brave is the movie made up from emojis.

I'm not even 13 and I understood all of these Disney you ain't slick
WHAT DO THE EMOJIS MEAN IN THE BEGINNING!??!?!!?!?!?!?
brave
a princess or queen turns into (->) a bear
Jishwa Tyjo
They mean the Disney movie 'Brave'
Jishwa Tyjo · beauty and the beast
Jishwa Tyjo · It was the movie Brave
Love you so much
The book Belle is reading is Aladdin
sleeping beauty is based on the fairytale by Charles perrault... In Europe every fairytale has different variations and Disney has obviously chosen perraults version. maybe a little research about European fairytales would be appropriate
I like discovering secrets :)
No one can see the sex in the repunzel cover
Andrea Thompson everyone can see except you
I can barely see it, but I feel it's really far-fetched. And the "sex" in Lion King is the SFX. They were giving credit to the special effects team.
Alyssa Patti yep. The Tangled thing is pretty far fetched
Andrea Thompson I can see it but it is pretty far fetched...
Andrea Thompson I can see it if I look hard at it..... what kind of dirty minded person thinks of that!?
Where are the secrets?!
