@@TJ_TDOG I was afraid of losing that amateur charm, but this will at least make it easier for me to record videos so sacrifices must be made! Also the mic was shockingly only $60 so we still working under budget
Idk what it is about The Whole Shebang but you are generally one of the best RUclipsrs, no joke. I am so happy I found your channel when I did and am excited to see how much it grows in 2025! You deserve the world man. Also I love the new mic. It sounds great 👍
In case you didn’t read the community post… The only explanation that makes sense to me about why they ended so soon is that they’re gonna pull a Crisis on Infinite Earths and destroy the multiverse when this saga’s over except for a mashed up version of the MCU, the XCU and the F4 universe and a few separate universes which are Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’s universe and maybe the Zombies universe. At least they’re still making animated shows that take place in other universes. Which means there’s still a chance for “What If The Other Half Got Snapped” which I think makes for a better miniseries than just one episode.
I definitely agree! After Secret Wars they don't want to have a lot of multiverse stuff so it makes sense why they're ending it as unfortunate as it may be I would much rather have a limited series for that too tbh so I hope we get it!
The Agatha episode was my favorite this season (after all, Agatha All Along is my fav show of the year). I loved the crossover with Agent Carter soooo much! Let me get a bit personal here: I met my now fiancée because of the Agent Carter TV series (we recently celebrated our 1st anniversary as an engaged couple!), so I will always cheer for more AC content in any medium they can get us. It was so great sitting down together and watching James D'Arcy returning as well as the whole concept of Stark Pictures! So happy this episode exists!
One of my favorite episodes was What If Howard The Duck Got Hitched Because it’s one of the biggest examples of how underutilized some of the side characters are, especially when a side character from one franchise meets another from another franchise. Howard and Darcy could’ve even been a couple in the sacred timeline since we don’t know anything about their lives beyond their seconds-long appearances post-Endgame. Not to mention Darcy’s an MCU OC so they’re free to do anything they want with her. I’ve watched this one pitch video from Jayniac about how a Valkyrie spin-off would work, developing her character in a way they never did in the Thor movies! Or, if you want go back to the leads, a Star-Lord spin-off where he re-learns what Earth is now since he left. There isn’t just wasted potential with ending the show but also wasted potential in the sacred timeline!
Instead if making one show that had to do everything, they should’ve made two shows that were working together. What If..? should’ve been a full on anthology with self contained stories. Then they should’ve made some kind of Exiles show that was fully devoted to multiversal crossovers & getting addendums on those previous universes. I feel like that would’ve been way better for the potential both ideas had.
My top three What If? episodes, each exemplifying one of the three best ways to make a good episode: 1. 1-4 soooo this was heralded as the best episode of the show from season one and it still is absolutely. This episode is the best example of the format. One small change that is actually 100% possible to occur in the MCU, then we follow the entire story all the way to the end. This is the only piece of MCU Disney+ media that comes close to the peak of X-Men ‘97. 2. 2-6 some people didn’t like this, but this is the second type of good setup. One change that we catch up with an extreme time gap later, leading to an essentially original story entirely. Kahhori is such a great character, and so cool. There’s something so fantastic about seeing an original story and one that actually is carried through to the end. Weird strange cameo at the end lmao 3. 2-7 and there is a good reason why 2-5 is NOT here. Both are episodes following the third type, which is when the episode largely follows along with actual MCU films for the most part. 2-5 decides to follow a Cap film and a Black Widow film with the two main characters being… an alternate cap and an alternate black widow… 2-7 decides to follow a Thor film and the Shang-Chi film with the two main characters being the villains of the original stories. So much more interesting already. Not to mention the really nice full story that doesn’t have a freaking cliffhanger at the end. Plus this episode gives Hela, who still feels like 100% the same character from Ragnarok, the chance to say her truth that she never got to say in the film and it all still feels real super underrated Also love 1-8 (Infinity Ultron), 2-1 (Nebula), 3-3 (Red Guardian), and 3-6 (1872)
I always look forward to your videos man, they're great! I think positivity like yours is lacking in the marvel space these days, so I always appreciate what you have to say man, much love
As a whole i personally really liked this season it had some fun and cool episodes and i think a really nice ending, it's definitely not perfect and there are some what if's that i would have really loved to see but overall i enjoyed my time with What If and how it returns in some way down the road.
You know despite my problems with it especially that season 3 it’s still my favorite project from the multiverse saga but I’m still disappointed there’s only one episode with Spider-Man in it and he took off his mask smh
This series made me remember that Sam was a therapist for war veterans.... so why in Falcon and the Winter Soldier didn't Sam help John Walker by talking to him? In the fight they had, I can understand it since Jhon was not well emotionally at that moment (plus the serum did something to his head if I remember correctly)... but then Sam doesn't even have a conversation with Jhon after the fight to help him with his problems... It doesn't seem like something the Captain would do.
Hey, thanks for your videos, really enjoy them a lot! You are probably one of a few people who loves MCU as much as I do and generally tends to look for the bright sides, rather than focus on the negative One thing though - I really do believe her name is Kahhori, not KahhorTi :) Sorry for being a snob, it just catches my ear every time
I appreciate looking out for me! BUT I made sure to be prepared for the video, and from the official Marvel website they say: "Kahhori, pronounced 'KAH-HORTI,' is a real, Wolf Clan name, meaning 'she stirs the forest"'
17:30 while watching the episode I had a feeling the entire time that the hood was shung-chi sister I've seen so many TV shows and movies without winds up being the case that it just I could feel it lol And then when it was revealed I audibly was like I fucking knew it screaming lol
It was okay, in my opinion. The biggest problem I had was that the episodes were kind of boring. It took itself seriously while not going that crazy with ideas. They made a mech episode boring somehow. Idk, this season just wasn't for me
I enjoyed the show. I understood your thoughts on this season. I actually enjoyed the finale and felt I wanted more. The idea of What If is so much fun to explore with the various different ideas and concepts. I'm with you the second season is my favorite as well. It was fun exploring the multiverse. I would say it's in my top five of favorite MCU Disney Plus shows as well. Overall good thoughts on the show
A few things: 1. The show was fun at times, but I also really don't like how this show has an overarching plot that connects everything. This is supposed to be an anthology. The presence of the Watcher should be the only consistent thing, in my opinion. 2. I'm surprised you didn't mention that America Ferrera's character had the last name Morales. Possibly hinting that Miles will be coming to the main MCU soon. 3. Just letting you know that I'm also one of only six people who watched both seasons of Agent Carter.
Season 2 was my favorite by a long shot! And I agree I liked the show more when they just stuck to their own universe and didn't do these universe crossovers. Season 3 finale didn't work for me because of this but also because it felt copy and paste of the season two finale which is the only episode in season I didn't like. Also something to note the episode don't all have the same runtime but with each season they stared getting shorter and shorter. compare the longest episode from each season and the shortest episode and you'll see what I mean. This just proves Disney didn't want to go the extra mile to make this show end with a bang. Overall I liked the show and I hope Marvel continues with their animated projects
This was my favorite season out of the 3. I think the Riri episode is my favorite. Also, isn’t the white vision in the comics called spectral vision? Why does everyone say white vision?
I mean how do you top season 1 finale? It was wrapped tight with a cute bow on top. If you want to top it do you necessarily have to make higher stakes and more powerful villains (the writers think so)? If this is the pattern we want then we can't keep doing this forever, because we got Infinity Ultron, then Strange with Steroids, then the Eminence, what's next the Living Tribunal? Loki God of Stories turns evil? And then what?
I disagree about "the show shouldn't have crossovers". Imagine if we never got The Avengers movies and only got standalone ones. They would still be good but they wouldn't be truly epic.
Episode 3 is the best episode in The season because I am a huge fan of that dynamic but your top three was great as well. Very good video. I think that the best episode in the series was that winter soldier one but that might be recence bias . Any thoughts on how this could tie into an exiles show
0:13 this show honestly should have been so much better if they had not connected everything together if they had just made it an actual what if stories like the comics without connecting everyone what if stories together to tell some bigger story we didn't need that just give us alternate takes of MCU happenings that's why it dipped in quality from season 1 to season 2 and then season 2 to 3 should have been every episode with something different no connection to previous episodes or seasons just every episode it's own thing
Ngl I never finished What if...I gave it a shot and watched season 1 but I'm not a fan of the animation style at all and and I only really liked the Doctor Strange episode. I tried season 2 but never finished
I got a proper mic for christmas, so please let me know how it sounds! I am still trying to tweak the settings and I hope I got it right 😭
It sounds better but tbh I enjoyed the scuffed mic more cause it showed that you don’t need the best equipment to make banger videos
It wasn’t bad before but it is better now
@@TJ_TDOG I was afraid of losing that amateur charm, but this will at least make it easier for me to record videos so sacrifices must be made! Also the mic was shockingly only $60 so we still working under budget

This show got the Mandalorian treatment
- Season 1 was great
- Season 2 was mid
- Season 3 was disappointing

Aw that's so cool for you!
0:21 Agents of SHIELD is the studio's longest running series. It lasted for 7 seasons.
Mysterio being the main villain of that episode felt like if clayface was the main villain of a superman movie and it works
Pretty valid review. Wasn’t really hooked by the concepts this season, but this video changed a bit of my opinion to give it a watch
Even as the Marvel shill I am, I wasn't excited for a handful of em given the titles, but in execution it's a lot better than I was expecting

Nothing from this show has been good in the past 2 years.
