There are 23 States that DO NOT HONOR the Walmart Plus 10 cent fuel discount. Only the Walmart Plus 5 cent fuel discount. I was told by Walmart Corp., that only Exon in these states will honor the 10 cent fuel discount. Will let you know when we visit an exon station.

I would get gas at sams club ( already lower price ) & use this WM+ $0.10 savings plus use a 5% cash back gas cc like the sams club Mastercard ( which gives cash back monthly unlike Costco … once a yr 😞)

If you’ve had it since the beginning of the quarter, you should have received an email offer to be activated for 5% back on gas

Wouldn't filling up at Costco gas station be cheaper than any ExxonMobil, even with the 10c discount? In my experience the price of gallon at Costco is usually at least 20c less than most regular gas stations. I can see it beneficial if I'm on a road trip and there's no Costco gas station nearby, otherwise it's a negligible discount compared to the cost at Costco.

I have a question after watching your video on how to build a credit score.
I heard you saying that, it is preferable to make the payment after the closing date and before the due date. Actually there are only 3 days between my due date and close date.
For instance, for this month my due date is on May 13 and the closing date on May 16. It goes this way every single month. Meaning I probably would have $0 in balance on the close day. What would you recommend please, because watching your video, it seems something is not appropriate somewhere, either I missed something or the way my due date and closing date is weird. Kindly help me understand what to do right please.

Hi Theodore - When you get your bill, you usually have around 25 days before it's due.
Your closing date of May 16 is for the current cycle that's still ongoing. None of those charges are due yet. When the current cycle closes, you'll get another bill that will probably be due around June 16.
When referring to paying "after the closing date & before the due date," that actually means this....
- After the _prior closing date_ but before the _current due date._
Here's the flow...
1. Billing cycle begins (Open Date)
2. You make purchases for ~ 30 days
3. Billing cycle ends (Close Date)
4. You get your statement
5. That statement has a due date about 25-26 days later (this is called the Grace Period).
6. But the _next billing cycle_ already began immediately after the first one ended.

Actually, I always pay everything I have been spending right after the 16th of the month before the next 13th of the month. Which means I don't even wait to receive a bill before making the payment.

The good new is it hasn't badly affected my credit score since I have 788.
But I noticed for about 11 months, my score is no longer increasing, I only had +2 during this long period.
I believe I should wait for them to make the bill first before I make any payment.

I am a paying Walmart plus member, when I got to the gas station I only got the check price and Walmart screen, even tried Services screen, I was never able to get to the gas screen, will try again in a few days, if it doesn’t work, they will get a big stink on social media.

My targeted offer was 100k points on $6000 or spend plus 5x on gas, groceries, and restaurant on up to 15k spend. I always wanted the platinum card but I wanted to get under 5/24 and plus I don’t want another new account on my report. But now with this offer I think I will upgrade my gold card!

No. Walmart does not use/accept Apple Pay
I didn't see an option for that in the Walmart app. For now it looks like the card needs to be added manually.
If a Platinum card holder is trying to save 10 cents then maybe they shouldn't be paying $695 a year to have this card. Switch to a Discover card..then you can consider the $695 annual fee as an annual sign up bonus for Discover.

Not necessarily. The explanation was simply longer in the video since I went thru the first-time setup stuff and manually added a new credit card to my profile. Once it's all done, simply pulling up with location services on is super quick.
