I have a pair of gauntlets I wear if I’m going further than a couple miles to the store, and when I’m doing hoodrat shit with my friends, a pair of winter gloves I wear when it’s cold out, and a pair of scorpion evos I wear the mile I ride to the gym and the mile I ride to the grocery store. The only pair I have that had the pinky connected was the winter gloves, and I cut the strip of leather connecting them. I’m pretty claustrophobic, and not being able to move them separately gives me a panic attack. I also have a pair of glove liners when it gets below 40, or so. I don’t see how you guys can ride with pinkies connected. Shit drives me crazy.
I thought about the price of skin graphs and just bought full leathers I’d pay over 1k to save my skin I’ve already had bad road rash bombing hills on my bicycle 😂

We have so many gloves, because those who actually ride frequently (unlike you) wear them out in like 1-2 seasons. The leather gets paper thin on the fingers and cracks open, the stitching rips, velcro straps snap or wear down.

Uh oh, I naturally brakes with 2 fingers.. but with my middle and ring finger.. I cut my Komine glove ring-finger strap to allow me brake more comfortably. 😂
It sounds like you need to adjust your brake lever. You get all of your fine movement from your index finger. You can’t be precise with your middle and ring fingers. Adjusting your brake lever up and down and the distance between it and the handlebars both will help.
@@thagingerninjer5391 it's just muscle memory for me. By the time I need to hard brake, my hand just automatically reach brake lever using middle-ring finger. Well, got to try to fix this.
@@thagingerninjer5391 braking using middle-ring finger also gave me more advantage because I can pull brake lever easier due to simple plane principle. 😅 (Farther away from fulcrum) Using index-middle finger like a normal person, means less force applied to brake master due to your side of lever is closer to fulcrum. It is just habit for me.

I could pull mine hard enough to tuck the front or activate my abs with my pinky, but I get what you’re saying. It is wild, though. I’ve never met anyone that uses their middle and ring. The only thing I break those bad boys out for is my wife. 😂
