- Last time I raced constantly with the tree I was a Bracket Racer in an auto car and over time I learned the how the sportsman tree worked. However my class had to leave on a Pro Tree. Different classes in drag racing leave on a certain tree pattern according to the rules of that class. I had never left on a pro tree let alone tried launch a 600hp Stick Car on the tree… Leaving after having to bump forward twice to pre-stage and stage the car at the beams became my next challenge I learned after my pittiful first round lauch haha. So we came to the conclusion to just start fresh, get a new clutch so thus I can hopefully eliminate one problem, stop the roll and make it sit. Trying to set the line lock at the tree in a Manual car that wants to roll before the pro tree turns on cause of the extr bump Vs a flashlight start where you only have to move/bump forward once and set the line lock to hold the car just before I come up on rpm to launch.. make a noticable difference. I got somethings to work out with the Fox before the next outing!

Never ever use the foaming brush unless its on a car you hate. The guy before you probably cleaned the inner fenders on his mud truck with that brush. Best to carry a bucket and sponge with you
The trick is if you are going to use a foaming brush while you pre rinse your car you give the foaming brush a good blast or three after it starts foaming good to wash the last persons crud and corruption out of the brush and of course never use a stall with a pile of mud or engine grease in it.

Why have a pro shifted trans if you’re still gonna granny shift it? You need to tighten up the cable for a tiny bit of slip off the hit and leave at no lower than 6300 and please Molly just commit to it and do not lift on gas just hold to floor and just tickle the clutch pedal between shifts. Your car has such a hard bite , ya a heavier clutch would soften that with momentum, but I'd worry about wheel speed then.im sure you got it all worked out. So that's what's going on at lucore. Ya I watch them too. Love Ohio racing altogether. Don't listen too much to me , don't think I ever had a 600 hspr stick shift. That's a lot . You all are at the top of my list of things to watch! @ 3:41 note the rear of the car goes DOWN. Not good. that is pulling the rear end off the track and into the car. You need to adjust the rear upper control arms. the front mounting point only need to drop down one inch from stock You can make brackets for that. Just trying to help.

You've chosen a hard group to start out in Molly...You need to find someone that can teach you the dynamics of FULL THROTTLE SHIFTS !!! Once you discover this,it will be less work for you to get down the track than "thinking" about not missing shifts. I wish that I were closer to you than I am(Seattle).A few minutes with you would open some doors I think...If you get out this way,contact me if you would like,you may be glad you did!I bracket raced years ago in a stick shift car and did better than most thought I would...Meanwhile,keep at it....

Video quality has just gone leaps and bounds, your friend really knows her shots/angles and the music was on point. Please though as someone that car details never use those brushes at the car wash haha. Loved it either way!

I use the heel/toe method of holding the car still at the line. Heel on the brake, toe working the gas. Say what you want, but launching on slicks adds a bit of difficulty to balancing wheel speed to not bog the motor and not sending the tires up in smoke. You've learned a lot in the few months where I subscribed to your channel. Keep doing it, you're doing great.

Miss Molly, you're doing great young lady. As for learning the tricks of the craft using a 4 speed, Daddy Bill knows how to drive a shifter car. Ride with him and listen, watch closely. Watch old videos of some of the best in the business from days long ago like Grumpy Jenkens, Ronnie Sox. These guys can teach you methods and techniques, the skill will only come from - you know it - that drivers seat,, no where else. Go get 'em next race!!
something else to look into would be a 2 step. it will get you more consistent launches and more consistent 60 foot times.
