Whilst adding Amrabat could help fix the midfield, we are stuck in the same old trap of teams letting Wan Bissaka have the ball and man marking everyone else.
*Progressive passes* are a reasonable substitute for progressive carries in a direct style of play. Your real problem was shit pass completion in the opposition half. Our 42 touches in the opposition box were more than double your 19, and we completed over three times as many passes in the final third of the pitch (168 vs. 47). Just 12.2% of United’s successful passes ended in the final third-the second-lowest figure put up by United in a League match since that statistic became part of the record in 2006-07. *Your second-biggest issue* has to be of lack of depth at centre-back. You cannot play a pairing of Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans when your sole style of play (at least against the top sides) is to sit deep, absorb pressure, and counter on the break-especially with so much injury time being added on for the foreseeable. *In any case,* Bruno, Eriksen, and Rashford are all excellent ball-carriers. Casemiro isn't particularly speedy or creative but he isn't wasteful with the ball, and the addition of Amrabat wil free him to be a traditional six. Onana is obviously good with the ball at his feet, and Martinez feels more like a converted left-back. I'd say it's only your actual left-back, Luke Shaw, ranked in the 46th percentile with 1.97 progressive carries per 90, who is as dreadful as you think (even Wan-Bissaka is in the 79th percentile with 2.81 per 90)-which only serves to reinforce my earlier point: a fit Luke Shaw always gets the start because his 5.31 progressive passes per 90 (82nd percentile) are critical to the direct system in place at United.
Successful United teams had at least two midfielders who could beat a man with the ball, it opens up the wings, or we had a Carrick who was brilliant at setting tempo
@@aflow- that's a joke right? Fdj, Bernado Silva, Mattheus Nunes, kovacic, Modric, foden, kdb etc are all ball carriers. Even McSauce is a ball carrier just thay most times his decision making after or during those runs are crap
I was at the Tottenham match in the home end (south stand) and was seriously unimpressed by United given some of the preseason hype. They pressed well at times but when United had the ball they seemed too far apart from each other particularly in the second half. Maddison had the beating of Casemiro nearly every time. Yes, united did have chances and yes they could have done better with them but they didn't. Now they are under pressure. If Fernandes gets injured it could get worse.
Honestly man, just shut up,Tottenham were bombarded at home,United created chance after chance and Tottenham couldn't do nothing,if at least Antony and Bruno could fuckin aim properly they would be winning 3-0 in half time with a penalty given, United fell off in the second half but it is something that occurs on football especially when they pressed so hard in the first half,so I really don't know what you are talking about, bias aside United should have won the game and all the goals Tottenham scored were lucky.
@@Juiced_Lemons If you watch some of videos of people predicting the 2023/24 EPL league final placements on RUclips you'll see that United were frequently predicted to finish 3rd or even 2nd. Among the BBC pundits two predicted 2nd, 10 predicted 3rd, 11 predicted 4th. Out of 27 only one predicted outside the top four. Losing friendlies has nothing to do with hype (even though it perhaps should do).
I think this team needs time and Amrabat could also be a new variable in the equation. If Amrabat pairs with casemiro, bruno wont be forced to go back deeper meaning the creativity at the attacking front is maintained. With Anthony out due to trials and allegiations, pellestri might come on as a good choice as Anthony really did nothing in the past. Anyways we shall see.
@@QuotidianStupiditymadrid fan here, support United but you guys've been saying this for every signings now. That boy hojlund rlly showed positivity in the arsnl match, lets hope amrabat can do the same and him wont turn out to be like mount.
And then the problem will be if Amrabat & Casemiro are good enough on the ball to pass from deep midfield to the more forward players or progress the ball like Erickson can?
@@QuotidianStupidity yeh me too, i mean watching him in the WC, i dont watch seria A that much tbh but lets see if he can deliver. I think yes a player can be good, but it's hard playing under a toxic fan base. Its the same in Madrid anyway. We made several seem-to-be good signings at first but then it turns out to be a disaster because players cant handle the pressure. So i kinda feel it for United fans here.
Loved the transition between background music at 3:23. In relation to the tactical analysis, it was spot on as usual. Midfield has been our problem since the opening day at Wolves. Having Casemiro play as the metronome while pushing up Fernandes and Mount leaves us too vulnerable on the counter, especially when those attempted line breaking passes are intercepted. I like Mount, but he's not an ideal partner for Fernandes, who will always be at his best playing higher up the pitch. Thats why having someone like Eriksen partnered with Casemiro at the base of midfield gives us far more balance. Eriksen has evolved into a player similar to Michael Carrick in his mid 30s, not the most physical, but uses his amazing positional sense to find space while controlling the tempo of the game from deep. Not the best start to the season, but we will surely improve as it goes on.
Basically, in order for the 3-1-6 attacking gameplan function properly, there are 2 things need to be achieved at the same time. 1. De bruyne type of player which United don't have 2. half space runs (don't have right players to do it) 3. full backs inverting (progressor like Stones, defensive like Walker) To makes things worse: 1. Leaving Casemiro isolated every game 2. Player's disasterous positioning on and off the ball Solutions: 1. STOP the 3-1-6 attacking gameplan NOW and deploy defensive backup plan or else 7-0 humiliation incoming for sure 2. Worst case scenario: sack ETH in december or even before that

It's not overdone it will take time for them to adapt, took Arsenal, Liverpool and City time idk why our fan base is so impatient. We are getting rid of managers too quickly, we finally have a good well rounded manager we need to give him the time that Arteta and Pep had
@@swiftyyy870 It was over-done. Onana is a very good GK and Utd will benefit from his range to be a sweeper or extra passer from the back. But his passing ability was over-hyped, as he clearly benefitted from having a very strong Inter Milan defensive unit protecting him. A GK's most important ability is his shot stopping ability. Period. De Gea has a weakness for passing, but the main issue was the weak pressing from the forward to midfield line that exposes the defense. He wasn't the root cause of Utd's problems.
@@mariahlin5556 You can't have a overhyped passing ability? Ur either a good passer or not and in the past few games he's had more impact than most of our outfield players with passes. I get everyone's frustrated with UTD now but come on. Stop using that frustration to come up with bs like this. Onana is still a good shot stopper obviously not on De Geas level but we've been making too many mistakes at the back and midfield. Even De Gea would've had a rough time at the start and people would be saying De Gea out still. I'm getting really fed up with our fan base right now focusing on the wrong issues that people make up. I'm not hating on De Gea here I loved him at UTD but he wouldn't have done anything special to win us the games we lost so far since the goals weren't the GKs fault.

@@swiftyyy870 Don't forget the fact that Pep ONLY use that 16/17 season to solve Man City issues. After that, Man City keep on winning trophies after trophies. THIS should be the blueprint for top England teams to follow. NOT the LONG progression bullshit & nonsense
Amrabat is good addition but he won't be able to fix all the issue. When Rangnick said United needs to sign at least 10 new starters to see any improvement, this was not exaggerated. Changing too many managers over past 10 years, each signed players according to their preference lead to next manager inheriting players that cant fit into his system. With Antony, Sancho, Greenwood drama and 8 injuries less than 5 games into new season, i say we should temper our expectations. Our target should still be top 4 this season, I'd rather see ETH imposing his gameplan into this team.
I think Wan bissaka has done quite well in the right wing. His timing of the runs has got better and his dribbling is very good albeit unconventional. The problem in first few games was that mount has been invisible with almost zero contributions. When eriksen played, united have controlled games much better. I think dropping Antony for Mctominay who pairs up with Eriksen as two in the second line of 3-2-5 shape or Amrabat who drops in the first line, allowing Casemiro to play with eriksen in the second line might be the two obvious solutions. Another approach might be playing Sancho on the right wing as a traditional winger and bruno between the lines as Sancho has high schot creating actions and his crossing/passing/link up is much better on the right.
Ten hag likes too many players forward for the premier league. You have to have a solid base in the PL and move forward as a team not have three defenders a massive gap and 7 attackers. I think we are seeing that "ten hag ball" doesn't work. He either needs to adapt or go.
Best comment so far. But I'll rather that ETH stays for stability and progress and I am sure he will adapt but he still need to try to play his game. However, the club doesn't give him the right personnel from the transfer market (eg. Harry Kane, Kim min jae, de jong) so he has to settle for playing people out of position. He also trusts very few players to play his style. Apparently, he doesn't trust the academy players at all except Garnacho. Seeing how short we are in defence, he sold all academy defenders for nothing including their keeper(Kovar), just to settle for Johnny Evans and Maguire in defence. Those guys would have given blood, sweat and tears to play for united (also raise their market value) but our coach is both blind and stubborn.
United needed a press resistant, technically brilliant, physical ball carrier capable of receiving the ball in deeper areas of the pitch with his back against the own goal and dribbling(evading) out of pressure and carrying the ball into opponents half of the pitch. Frenkie de Jong archetype of a player, but they couldn't get FDJ after desperately chasing him. They should've bought someone like Manu Kone, Khephren Thuram, Matheus Nunes, Ryan Gravenberch... I'm not aware of many more midfielders who are capable of this kind of stuff, but they probably exist, scouting department had to do it's job. Signing of Mason Mount doesn't make sense to me. Casemiro gets a lot of responsibility in ball progression, and is often isolated, disjointed from Bruno and Mount/Eriksen. Casemiro also has a lot of ground to cover during counterattacks of the opposition so they get overrun easily. Why Ten Hag gave up on the idea of Frenkie de Jong type of a press resistant ball carrier in the midfield? I don't know and it puzzles me. Basically all the players in United's midfield treat the ball like a hot potato, there is no ball retention. They try to release it as quickly as possible(often searching for Rashford with a deep ball...).
At times it feels like we play like we did under Ole. We still look to hit on the break. I’ve yet to see a consistent ETH playing style that I enjoy for 90min. It’s not all his fault. Injuries and having to take 3rd choice signings cuz of the glazers.
How can you lot blame glazers for everything is beyond me you spend 200 million for what 5 6 straight years or even more years and yet you say about signings players internal issues can be a matter but signings is not aissue u can put on glazers it's managers failure for appending 200 million and yet saying lack of signings
@@vadulekars7698 They have spent nothing (not a single dollar) for this club. They bought the club with a loan, which they haven't cleared. The 200mil you're talking about is the amount that United as a club generates annually through its global fan-following and outreach. Ronaldo came after 20 years and still found the same equipment/facilities being used, which means no improvement in 20years. Just look at Real Madrid's infra-structure and the stadium they're building, you'll see that the Glazers are f'ing clowns who don't care about this club! Internally many of the staff don't even know if they have a job because the owners are meandering with the club sale. 5.5billion pounds were offered, but they want 7.5billion or more - what a joke!
@@vadulekars7698 Bro you said "How can you lot blame glazers" and so I replied with regards to that statement. They are at fault for most of what's going wrong at United. The transfer strategies have been absolute bs. We paid 95mil Euros for 30mil worth Antony, 75mil for a 20mil youth player who just started his career. They waited till deadline day to sign Amrabat. We were scouting Kim Min Jae, but in the end we couldn't buy him. Who's responsible for these transfer disasters? The scouting team? Who's hiring them? The questions lead back to the irresponsible owners of Man United. Don't you think this affects management decisions of Eric Ten Haag? Everyone is out for his throat, but I think we should give him a bit more time. This just his 2nd season and 9 main players are injured - you have to cut him some slack. But I will say this, that some of his tactics were questionable. With Antony and Sancho out of the team, why isn't he using Pelistri or giving him a chance? There's something horribly wrong with that midfield and Mount isn't the answer. He needs to figure that out.
I think 316 is outdated It would be effective like 5 seasons ago but not now Utd should go with box midfield and prioritize methodical ball progression more than attacking overloads that we dont even have the personal to utilize, especially now that hojlund is back and we have a proper striker and lw, we should go 4231 with amrabat and casemiro at the double pivot, and with antony suspended, we could shove one more midfielder in and we should use eriksen and bruno at the top of box midfield Then reguilon and dalot as overlapping full backs I think even with all the problems we have with our squad, theres still a way to make a good tactical board
Ignoring the old adage ' If it ain't broke , then don't fix it", Erik Ten Hag and the United brass decided to change areas that weren't the areas that needed fixing. United finished 3rd in the table , were in 2 cup finals and won 1 trophy. Statically, the most pressing area of need was in scoring goals. They finished 6th with 58, which was 36 less than City. Yet, according to the data (Fbref) they were tied for 3rd with City in Shots and 2nd behind Brighton in Shots on Target. They had more shots on target than Manchester City yet finished 36 goals behind them. They were in the top 3 in SCA (shot creation) but 7th in GCA (Goal creation). Meanwhile, defensively they finished tied for 3rd in GA and 1st in Clean Sheets. Yet, Ten Hag decided to address the midfield and change his goal keeper and left the most pressing need of improving goal scoring in the hands of 20yr old , 9 goal scorer from Serie A. It was always going to be difficult because by changing the squad with the new signings, they were not going to play as they did last year. I'm all for a Manager having the right to play their "style' of football but there is something to be said for seeing what you have and playing to the personnel strength. Ten Hag did that last year but decide he would rather play to his "style', hence the changes. Logic would dictate that United will not have as good of a year simply because while they are figuring out how they should play, their opposition got better. Certainly Liverpool look better, Arsenal look better, City is City and the likes of Brighton look like a team on the up. United's competition is only getting stronger. It remains to be seen if Ten Hag's desire to change the style of play will bear fruit.
After United had lost in the beginning of last season, Ten Hag reverted to a more direct counter attacking style. This season he wants United to be the best team in transitions. How is he forcing his style on United?
@@amphiphil844 Good question. First we have to be clear on what he means by best team in transition. Ostensively , he's talking about going from defense to offense or visa versa quickly. That involves pressing and ball possession. He changed his GK as was pointed out to help with building up play from the back which can be part of ball possession and ball retention. These are not attributes of a counter attacking team. Counter attacking invloves holding a defensive shape inviting teams on to you and when the opportunity presents itself attack. Think how West Ham beat Brighton who had 79% possession but lost. Or how the Spanish Women's team lost to Japan 4-0 in the group stages. Counter attacking football is best for this team especially with it's two best players in Fernandes (who's always looking for the worldie pass forward) and Rashford(who is best coming at goal on the run where he just has to shoot and not think). There isn't anything wrong with what Ten Hag wants to do, I just think he's changing too quickly. He has a ball playing GK who is good at passing but he's passing to Wan Bissaka or Dalot or Lindelof, etc. He's also going to lose his GK for 1 month during the African Nations Cup which leaves him with a Backup for 4-5 games. Not to mention he could have/should have brought him along when he took over United cause he was on a free then. I just think he and United should have done whatever it took and spent whatever it required to get a consistent goal scorer, which is still their problem. All well and good with all this tactical mumbo jumbo but if they have players that keep hitting the post, heading balls over the net or just missing the net completely, what does it matter if they can play out from the back or win the ball from a press.?
The profile of players needed are not there, from our wing backs to our wingers to a ball carrying midfielder to link the play. Rashford is good and dangerous but does not always look up to release that dangerous ball. The right flank is a dead zone Antony does nothing creative. I think you are spot on with the analysis. The coach is not supported by the management and is forced to keep players he does not really want and that affects the the dressing room. The hope is that Amrabat should fit that midfield role since he has some defensive instincts lacking in Mount and Ericson. Houjland too looked to impact the game and offer an outlet which looked dangerous and it remains to be seen. There is still hope . The playing out from the back is a huge positive because that made united lose so much possession going long with De gea. It's in phases I believe the manager will get a solution soon
£200m spend. You never know if they'll be worth it until they play and Utd's transfers for many years now call into question their ability to pick the right players. Too often Utd have chased 'names' and ignored such things as character or team building. It's too early to say whether the new players have bucked that trend but Ten Haag needs to get things moving quickly or he could be out sooner rather than later.
I wreckon someone like Toni Kroos can revitalise the midfield. United need someone who can hold the ball and control the tempo of the match. Pairing up a controlling Kroos with a energetic Bruno Fernandes can turn this team around
United are just using Onana to show teams they can play from the back without any meaningful progression. They beat the first press and then goes back to him to prove a point that he is good with his feet. Also, Ten hag has no clear principles in the final third.
Yeh. Would have been good to hear a few more recommendations or discuss how introducing new types of players may help. My only takeaway was that the single pivot doesn’t work in the premier league.
He does mention solutions but United cannot implement them because they lack the personnel, or they are injured. E.g. He mentions using inverted full backs to provide a second pivot defensively and second outlet offensively but united do not have anybody like Zinchenko or Walker that can do it effectively. In the midfield, Mount is supposed to free up Bruno from having to fall deep all the time but he's injured. The squad is simply poorly constructed.
my man is so kind to elaborate these weaknesses, ayo the reason is simple, ten hag tactics are great, its just the quality of the players is not there. wan bissaka this, antonny that, sancho this, martial that 😭
United don't score. Antony, Martial and a Rashford played out-of-position are largely toothless up front. United should have won the Tottenham gane. Bruno's no longer interested in staying in midfield. He only wants to play close to the striker, weakening the midfield. With Mount undisciplined to play in a midfield 2, this leaves Casemiro isolated and alone.
I'd say play Fernandes a bit deeper, closer to Casemiro. Put Mount/ Eriksen in an attacking midfield role. Rashford / Martial on the left, Rashford/ Mount on the right and play Hojlund as a nine. Atleast that is what I can think of so far, unless you have other options/solutions? Although not his preferred position, I think Rashford can play on the right. I have another solution aswell. Put Amrabat next to or nearby Casemiro. That way you can play Fernandes on the rightwing, Garnacho on the leftwing and Mount as a false nine, which I think he can do. Option number three may be Amrabat as defensive midfielder, Mainoo next to Amrabat, Fernandes as a 10, Mount on the rightwing and Rashford on the leftwing with Martial as a striker. In summary there are many options to reconsider. Whether ever option is available remains to be seen, that is dependable of injuries and the opponent. Anyway let me know if and when I am wrong.
If you want to play 3 midfielders they have to be compact, not far apart like ten hag tactics. If we play two pivot the two pivot midfielders they could interchange positions laterally whilst the attacker and cam can change their position, the one on top, coming off deep to collect the and the cam would make a run forward. We can also implement swap wing tactics, by doing so, making the winger available in the half spaces, rather than wait on the sideline. If we play 3-1-2-4, everybody seems too static to collect the ball(for the front line). Because the front lines were statically position themselves up front without wanted to drop deep to ask for the ball.
Can’t agree… fluidity of the team is bad, attacking players re too static always hugging the sideline to stretch, with that much gap between players and no fluidity Ball progression in the final third is so poor and when the ball is lost, recovery seems almost impossible due to the isolation and gap created in the midfield…
The issue is, like mentioned at the end, AWB is incapable of inverting and Shaw only delivers if he feels pressure to perform due to competition. I think ideally the 3 at the back wouldve looked like this: Todibo- Varane- Lisandro That ensured that Lisandro can invert and play a bigger role on the ball and Todibo has the capabilities to both cover defensive transitions and carry the ball past opponents and creating space. I think the role envisaged for Mount was perfect for Kocku would instead moved to Benfica due to ManUtd's dithering. I would prefer for Amrabat to the holding position and for Casimero to to play in Mounts place higher up. That would free him to focus more on scoring just like he did in Madrid with Kroos and Modric.
The issue is simple ETH has a plan but he does not have the personals to execute the plan, that will involve him gradually changing the players with time, since manutd don't have the money to change the whole squad.
Any coach that can get their own players to suit their plan is nothing special. Ange is doing exceptional at Tottenham with last season players plus he lost Kane also.
The team structure isn't really working and we need a double pivot for both offensive and defensive transitions and also player individuals to step up their game as well, I think it's got both to do with the tactical side of things and mental side of things when it comes to what's gone wrong.
The main issue this team has a lot of players aren’t good enough. (Maguire, Lindelof, McTorminay, Fred, Shaw) Just don’t fit the system (Sancho, Dalot, WB) That’s a lot of players. I think the sole pivot conundrum can be fixed with not a right or left back inverting, but a center back moving in the midfield to create a defensive overload. While having the other center back mark the striker.
what if they chip through mid so u let 1v1? dont let shiny tactic fool u if it doesnt work just play simple basic system, with all those players u can easy get top 6
@@TheMaulam12345 not really. A basic is easily to breakthrough. Or did you never learn that with a long pass it basically becomes a ping pong game. Maybe most quality wise as individuals players but in a team sense, all these players I just mentioned don’t compliment each other.. at all
I dont think the player know what ETH want them to do in possesion at all. Everytime they start from the back, they were like looking up who to pass to next thus delaying the build up. There is no cohesion.

United clearly need a top sporting director that can structure the recruitment department of the team and challenge Ten Hag prefrences and ideas as well from time to time , but it is clear to see that the Glazers have no idea on how to bring in personal that can elevate them
The problem is ten hav itself rejected top sporting director available that time and preferred clueless director named murtough 🥱 The result? Uncertainty de jong pursuit, bought antony 90m while it would cost 40m if they bought it early, no spare striker for ronaldo at that time then loan weghorst after roanaldo leaves. What a disaster, ten hav were too pretentious and overconfident!!! He think manage player and transfer was easy
First of FMS rocks, we shouldn’t be in A rush to blame ETH bkus, transfer wasn’t done on time our CF came in at the last minute very few training time… United will do very well later on this season, our defense is a problem right now, who remembers how screwed LVP where with klavan and matip?
United have loopholes across the pitch. The right side is totally dead(both righ back and right wing). There also don't have a midfielder who can control the tempo. ETH is a ridged fellow. He spent the second preseason with the club but with no identity of play! The kind of subs he makes tell a lot about ETH.
I mean I loved De Gea, but then the problem was we couldn't play short because of him but now we can not play short because we don't have the players to do so? what if we play long or more compact, why do we need 6 on the attack? 3 should be enough, we need people on the midfield, we have Donny there also, he is a good creative player, to me there is no excuses, Ten Hag is managing this really poorly because it seems he can not adapt to the situation
There is a lack of pride, passion, determination, respect, consistency, no attention to detail, in this United squad. When the ball is given, no one tries to get it back. There is no trust between teammates and staff. They are playing for themselves instead for each other. Man United players lack fortitude.
I think ten haag is working with a lot of unfamiliar personnel, one he inherited not a team he built from scratch, probably if he has that luxury he can do better.
Love your videos, but could you do it without the jazz background music? I think it's a bit distracting. Prefer the chill music you usually use. Nice video though
I am very interested in what FMS think of these solutions. Maybe you can make a video about these suggestions, don't know but it is only a suggestion....
What I dont understand is : how thé team lost his way during summer ? They were far better the last season, and not only they dont lost major players, they gained ones who could improved the team So how did they create their problems ?
So gathering that they need a creative, ball playing DMF to help make it work. Who might that be? Frenkie de Jong. It’s why ten Hag was so hot for him last year.
Meanwhile nobody makes videos about Chelsea even though they are trash *again* after spending 10x what United have. I'm a red but it does make me laugh just how much stick United get for being a bit shit when others are ignored.
no expert but AWB should just stay back when MU is in possession. He really offers nothing going forward and it would be better if he just stayed back to prevent counters.
United need midfielders who can take the ball, turn around and dribble past their markers or carry the ball forward. Sadly, no United player can play under pressing except Lisandro Martinez. These all players are Counter Attacking Football Players and just not good in possession based Football.
What's wrong is we have a squad full of players that don't fit how he wants to play, no ball carriers, tactically inept and lazy players. Not all of them of course but there are far too many. Hopefully now with Ineos coming in and theirnew setup and recruitment overhaul things will gradually get better and the right players come in that fit how ETH wants to play. Just hope eth isn't replaced when he has been working with useless people above him that have no idea about recruitment
I think how bad United has been is overstated. First 2 games, we were horrible, against forrest we dominated in every way. And against Arsenal (at worst second best team in the league) we couldve easily have won if some things went differently. Arsenal were better but we had the chances to win
Tbh it's the fullbacks and ten hags new high press transition based playstyle with the personal we lack(two fullbacks that can play in tight spaces like zinchenko or TAA and a deep lying playmaker and a right winger who can take on his man successfully) it's literally suicide to play like this
Brilliant analysis - what I don't understand is why united didn't go for a full back that can invert ? It's almost a necessity. The teams you face in premier league will not allow you to have a true single pivot ... you need inversion and have a 3-2 or a 2-3 build up ...
He needs more signings, he has to put up with players he has no interest in playing but has no replacements for. He hasn't had the summer transfer window he wanted yet. Always getting C plan options rather than main priorities.
Do a tactics video on what Xavi is doing right now since he lost the experience of Busquets and Alba and now has to use Romeu as a pivot and how he can adapt with the squad he has right now
I feel Onana really needs to step up in his shot stopping abilities.....some of the goals this season , DDG would save in a heartbeat. Sure Onana is better in his passing etc but he needs to get going ASAP
hes out of position few time and also slow reaction, probably should less running around in the box and hes also try cheating block many shots and got sweeped lol
Bayern Leverkusen is doing well under Xabi.. Can we get a analysis video about Xabi's tactics??
Whilst adding Amrabat could help fix the midfield, we are stuck in the same old trap of teams letting Wan Bissaka have the ball and man marking everyone else.
In the Arsenal game that was fixed by pushing him forward, or rather keeping him away from initial build up
I feel ETH was royally fked when FDJ rejected him and they could not find anyone similar to replace him.

Time to give McSauce a chance
Bruno is a good ball carrier.
@@aflow- that's a joke right? Fdj, Bernado Silva, Mattheus Nunes, kovacic, Modric, foden, kdb etc are all ball carriers.

Ten hag was. That matters more
Honestly man, just shut up,Tottenham were bombarded at home,United created chance after chance and Tottenham couldn't do nothing,if at least Antony and Bruno could fuckin aim properly they would be winning 3-0 in half time with a penalty given, United fell off in the second half but it is something that occurs on football especially when they pressed so hard in the first half,so I really don't know what you are talking about, bias aside United should have won the game and all the goals Tottenham scored were lucky.

1. De bruyne type of player which United don't have
2. half space runs (don't have right players to do it)
3. full backs inverting (progressor like Stones, defensive like Walker)
To makes things worse:
1. Leaving Casemiro isolated every game
2. Player's disasterous positioning on and off the ball
Solutions:
1. STOP the 3-1-6 attacking gameplan NOW and deploy defensive backup plan or else 7-0 humiliation incoming for sure

De Gea had the most clean sheets last season.

I love how at 0:30 it basically reads Ten Hag beat Ten Hag 😅😅 nicely done, if intentional
I think 316 is outdated
It would be effective like 5 seasons ago but not now
Utd should go with box midfield and prioritize methodical ball progression more than attacking overloads that we dont even have the personal to utilize, especially now that hojlund is back and we have a proper striker and lw, we should go 4231 with amrabat and casemiro at the double pivot, and with antony suspended, we could shove one more midfielder in and we should use eriksen and bruno at the top of box midfield
Then reguilon and dalot as overlapping full backs
I think even with all the problems we have with our squad, theres still a way to make a good tactical board
Arsenal looks better? They really don't

Great video!
I wreckon someone like Toni Kroos can revitalise the midfield. United need someone who can hold the ball and control the tempo of the match. Pairing up a controlling Kroos with a energetic Bruno Fernandes can turn this team around
Are you joking?
how can we convince him
Another great video keep up the good work
United are just using Onana to show teams they can play from the back without any meaningful progression. They beat the first press and then goes back to him to prove a point that he is good with his feet. Also, Ten hag has no clear principles in the final third.
Because the creativity player they have Sancho especially isn't the player he once was or something happened.

Thanks for the great video! Just perfectly analyzed.
United don't score. Antony, Martial and a Rashford played out-of-position are largely toothless up front. United should have won the Tottenham gane. Bruno's no longer interested in staying in midfield. He only wants to play close to the striker, weakening the midfield. With Mount undisciplined to play in a midfield 2, this leaves Casemiro isolated and alone.
the signing of mason mount continues to baffle me because it literally makes no sense whatsoever. doesn’t solve any issues we currently have
@@ideozublake8036It was a signing to give us more tactical options and improve pressing. But it's surplus.
Can’t agree… fluidity of the team is bad, attacking players re too static always hugging the sideline to stretch, with that much gap between players and no fluidity
Ball progression in the final third is so poor and when the ball is lost, recovery seems almost impossible due to the isolation and gap created in the midfield…
The issue is, like mentioned at the end, AWB is incapable of inverting and Shaw only delivers if he feels pressure to perform due to competition.
I think ideally the 3 at the back wouldve looked like this:
Todibo- Varane- Lisandro
That ensured that Lisandro can invert and play a bigger role on the ball and Todibo has the capabilities to both cover defensive transitions and carry the ball past opponents and creating space.
The only thing against the manager is not Playing Rashford in his position. Other than that. He has limited options with bad players.
Great analysis. Explains the Brighton loss really well.
The main issue this team has a lot of players aren’t good enough. (Maguire, Lindelof, McTorminay, Fred, Shaw)
Just don’t fit the system (Sancho, Dalot, WB)
That’s a lot of players.
I think the sole pivot conundrum can be fixed with not a right or left back inverting, but a center back moving in the midfield to create a defensive overload. While having the other center back mark the striker.

Rashford Hojlund
I think ten haag is working with a lot of unfamiliar personnel, one he inherited not a team he built from scratch, probably if he has that luxury he can do better.
Love your videos, but could you do it without the jazz background music? I think it's a bit distracting. Prefer the chill music you usually use. Nice video though
Video on the ineffectiveness of Xavis 4 man midfield tactics pls
Too early to judge his tactics! In time we shall she our United true colours!! 💪💪
I am very interested in what FMS think of these solutions. Maybe you can make a video about these suggestions, don't know but it is only a suggestion....
do analysis on jude bellingham and real madrid formation
What I dont understand is : how thé team lost his way during summer ?
They were far better the last season, and not only they dont lost major players, they gained ones who could improved the team
So how did they create their problems ?
Fatigue and injured, 1st team player playing all tournament last season, ETH doesn't rotate with 2nd team or academy players.
Thanks for helping Galatasaray!!
I agree
Can you cover Asian football a bit more? The Japan Germany game analysis might be interesting
No Germany is poop 💩 we don’t know Germany 💩 🚽
Ten Hag Ought to make Bayandir guard instead of the risky and vulnerable Onana who has let in too many goals in our matches so far!
I think how bad United has been is overstated. First 2 games, we were horrible, against forrest we dominated in every way. And against Arsenal (at worst second best team in the league) we couldve easily have won if some things went differently. Arsenal were better but we had the chances to win
Ange has done what ETH was supposed to do in the last 2 years, in only a few months, the problem is not personnel
Can you focus on Xavi Alonso's tactic, please.
What people forget is that new systems need time.
It's the results, the results that matters...bcos that's where points are being calculated...
What's gone wrong is ten Hag has abandoned all his principles and
Hi bro i hope u make a telegram channel for tactical analysis. Thx. Alot
Good
I dont wanna talk much but I am sure we are strongerr than last season my reason being we are going through alot as a CLUB😭😭.
It's a different challenge to over-achieve with low expectations.
Versus, trying to over-achieve with big expectations.
Can you do players tactical
Please do for havertz and the problems he has tactically.
I hope tenhag is able to change and improve this United team fr
He needs more signings, he has to put up with players he has no interest in playing but has no replacements for. He hasn't had the summer transfer window he wanted yet. Always getting C plan options rather than main priorities.
a similar video for chelsea pls
Do a tactics video on what Xavi is doing right now since he lost the experience of Busquets and Alba and now has to use Romeu as a pivot and how he can adapt with the squad he has right now
Can you analyse Inter 5 - 1 Milan?
Jorell hato Tomas araujo caqueret todibo young players that should all be brought in who can play the football the manager wants
Let's guess what happened against arsenal was not the dismantling of this tactic
Anthony wasn't even amazing in the Eredivisie though..
How so?
Please do brighton tactics please everyone want to know please
today.
Boruto put a Bankai on his talking no jutsu 😅
