With most companies moving on to vacuuming and mopping this vac needs to be perfect in every way to justify the outlandish price that Dyson will put on it.

Not really, they have already done the hard part - built a brand, a lot of people will buy it just because it is a Dyson 😂

@@nickolastiguanmaybe in your disposable income world.
Us "Plebs" read reviews and choose carefully based on performance , value, and features.
We know Dyson makes the best vacuums, we don't know if they make a good robot. Perfect example is Shark, who make excellent vacs, and a utter trash robot.

This is a major Fail. The battery lasts only 17 minutes on auto, with a max of about 30 on silent.
The navigation is equivalent to a 10 year old Rumba. It has optical sensor only, needs lights, and can't recognize obstacles. It has very poor mapping and has a hard time finding it's base.
      Retail price over $2k.

Dysons are mainly trash. There are too many issues with limited battery life in many of their uber expensive products.

When giving a name to your robot vacuum more important than actually reviewing the product.

LOL! One of my robot cleaners is also named "EVE". We have a Roomba vacuum that got named "WALL-E" because it cleans. Then we got their robot mop, which is white, so it got named "EVE".

Wow it does not have self emptying bin, that is a huge mistake. Anyone who has owned an older irobot and then upgraded to the self emptying bin knows that small chore adds up to a big deal over time. Maybe you only empty it once a week or 52 times per year, ridiculous!!

Nice but these Robot Vacuums are super expensive for just sweep and mopping that takes 30 mins or so.

    Fail!
17 minutes of run time! It takes 6-8+ hours to clean one room, and days to clean a medium sized house because of its short battery life ranging from 17 minutes on auto mode, to 30min on silent mode.
It only has optical navigation (no LIDAR etc) and requires light.
This type of navigation causes It to miss areas when cleaning, and inconsistent returns to base.

Why should anyone care given how their last robot performed, and their lack of leadership in this area? First impression, too little too late.

I've had a number of robots and they are all great for the few months. After a while, they all tend to suck. I've had a few varying prices. I bought the robots as i have dogs at home and the dogs hair are no match for these robots. Currently using the Roborock s8 ultra and eufy something 7. Waste of money on both, a bucket and water do a better job. Hopefully, my 2 cents help people make a decision, as i believe it was more helpful than this video.

      Try the Dreame L20u.
They have a new l10 superduper at a cheaper price, but it's nane is similar to their previous l10 (not superduper).
I'm very Impressed with the L20u. I'm about 6 months in, and it works beautifully. Avoids everything except dryer sheets, and clear plastic wrapper scraps. Cleans amazingly.
I wanted the Roborock s7 Max-V, but it wasn't available. I needed the camera for remote pet monitoring.
They're on sale now, try it and return within 30 days if it doesn't impress you.

Robot vacuums are overpriced for what they deliver. The companies in general do not support their products for no more than a year. Neeto went bankrupt. iRobot has depressing support as the robots become dumber and dumber each time they vacuum. Roborock is a sketchy Chinese company that makes government subsidized priced robot vacuums.
No matter the company, the support for their products is poor. Robot vacuum are built to be replaced like smartphones. Not like an appliance that is supposed to last years in a house.
