Speak for yourself, I can hear and feel Shore's style and Bear's meshed together in both of these themes. So far the music has been phenomenal, let us hope the rest of the production will be as well.
I get your point and I much prefer Howard Shore’s scores but I do think this is beautifully written with emotion inside of it. If the show is actually good it could work
I am really not into this show, but if there's something that let me grab onto hope is the music. It has something.
For literally anything else this would be good, but when I'm watching a LOTR show, I expect lotr music based around Howard's original work. I'm not pleased with saurons theme, I wanted more like the creepy epic music seen in the films
They don't have to be like the Peter Jackson movies.
@@ZiggyStardust49 no, but howard shore's music fits lotr much better than this, the music doesnt have to be exactly like in peter jackons movies but it's supposed to have a similar vibe, this doesnt have that
@@emilpanelius1614 Most of us disagree
@@JainaSoloB312 lmao, no.... most people outside this comment section agrees with me most likely
For my taste, he had done better before. Fitting for this show so.
I like the Sauron theme the rest feels a bit mediocre to me.
Yes. Kinda generic
Now that we can listen to the whole score I must say there‘s an overall mediocracy to it. Shore‘s one-and-a-half minute opening piece demonstrates what could have been possible. What a pity they did not give him the opportunity to expand on this material for an extended version on the album. Just sad.
@@XXensational lmao WHAT? 🤣 Howard's part is the worst part of the release, like it was the least interesting track. You guys are insane if you can call this mediocre, this is everything but mediocre. Yall are petty because you didn't think it would be this good and you just wanna shit on it no matter what. Lol cope harder
@@XXensational Shore's theme is good, but it's not great. Any 1m30s from this medley would be a better main theme, in my opinion.
It'll probably grow on me as I watch the show but it's definitely the weakest in the score.
Not feeling all his Music 100% For LOTR doesn't feel Like LOTR feels like Sherlock Holmes music and Vikings and Last Kingdom all Meshed in one along with Spartacus but it is good just not my cup of MIDDLE EARTH Music
God of War music lol
Nah music reminds more of warcraft instead of original Howard Shore Concert
