I understand but we need this kind of strength from helldivers 2 fans for Warhammer 40K cuz I'm doing my part by canceling my pre-order for Space Marines 2
Fair enough. Helldivers 2 is probably the most popular live service game at the moment. But if you personally don't really care about video games, you really wouldn't hear about it.
When Helldivers 2 launched, PSN was optional from the start. How can I say this even though Arrowhead 6 months prior had been told to have PSN Account Linking in place, AND the Steam Page stating "PSN Required"? 1) Sony's own terms and FAQ on their PSN site at the time of launch stated clearly that "PSN is optional for those playing games on PC." 2) Sony allowed Steam to sell Worldwide. To any and all PC Gamers regardless of nation. Since only 69 nations have PSN, then their wording on their website was accurate: PSN optional for those that can, and not required or possible for those outside that reach. Sony's numbers took a hit over Stellar Blade, they obviously wanted to pad their numbers, so they enforced the PSN accounts as per the HD2 Steam Sale Page and what AH had baked into the game code. This was in complete contradiction to their own wording and their own actions for the past three months. They even tried changing the wording on their website - which only means I'll never bother with any Sony game they port again. Ever. If they can change the agreement AFTER the sale to affect me like this, then they'll try it again. IF Sony had launched this game, and had their wording as it NOW currently states, and PSN was needed, and ONLY sold to the 69 nations where it's available: there wouldn't have been this issue. Granted, there wouldn't be that many PC players buying it either. PSN is intrusive to the point of absurdity. I've never had to give bio-metric ID and passport info and a face scan to access any other game I've ever played by any other company you can name. Most I've ever given is my email address to set up an account. And to have this asked of anyone from a company who's relationship with hackers is more akin to an abused prostitute being railed against a wall? No thanks. I would never willingly be a part of Sony's next exciting "Data Breach Event", no matter how good the game is. That is why those of us in PSN available countries don't want PSN - there's no "safety or security" for the player, just a data grab by the publisher and a risk to us, as well as an easy way for them to enforce DEI Woke "ban-worthy" rules on people for saying a "no-no word"... like "there's only two sexes" or something. So glad they caved this time, but it's not over. A company like Sony has had their way with their core customers (cash cows, basically, who are shafted by Sony on the regular without the courtesy of being given lube first) for so long that they're bound to try it again. If Sony wants a piece of the PC Gamer's wallets, then they'll learn what others learnt before: ask us for fair things to set up an account, treat us as adults, or go swing for our money, cos WE are the customer. WE control what we spend our cash on. And it is WE that can make or break a game or a company. Same for ANY customers for ANY company that exists. Including PS Gamers - Wake Up, Push Back, and Close your Wallets if Sony refuse to play fairly. YOU have the control, not Sony. Grow a spine, let your balls drop, and stand up for yourselves and you'll not have to 1) pay for a console, 2) pay for your game, 3) pay for you internet, AND THEN 4) PAY SONY MORE to play the game you've already PAID for online! That is a f'ing joke and I don't know why you even put up with something like that.
I hope GW is watching because I have a feeling that there is going to be a bit of retribution against their nonsense and abusive behaviour of the fans.

That Will never happen it's too late
I will be really impressed if Space Marine 2 releases in a good state, but we will see.
"In case you've been living under a rock..." I must have been, because I have no damn clue what "Hell Divers" is

@@RedHierophant23 Yeah, I don't play multiplayer games, a bit too old for that.
