Getting chickens for the first time this year. We purchased a coop used and will be working to get that set up soon. We hope to do meat birds this year too but not firmly committed to that this year.
Im 60 and when I was a young child growing up We had chickens and I had forgotten about the egg laying sing lol funny how memories work isnt it .I loved growing up in the country and Ive never had chickens of ny own living in the city but now that Im in my childhood home ,I think We'll get some .
Your inner hairdresser came out trimming the onions. Lol. I love your channel. I'm also in KS in 6b. We had our 1st KS garden last year. We learned A LOT of lessons.
You inspired me to try to grow onions this year! I am in Kansas City zone 6b too. This is my second year gardening and I have got so many great ideas from your channel!
Sorry I'm late on watching. Easy way to figure out yardage, weight the blanket. If skeins are 100g, and it weighs 2.2 kg, you used 22 skeins, or if you used 4oz balls and your blanket weighs 5.4lb you'd also use 22 balls. If you want yardage, find out the average yardage per ball, and times that by number of skeins. So if you have 150m per skein, times that by 22 and the blanket yardage is 3300m.
Hello! I’m so excited to see a RUclipsr that lives so close to me! I live around Joplin Missouri! Will definitely be following, I’m doing my first garden this year and I want to learn to can food!
I'm doing a temperature blanket because I saw yours last year. I'm doing the 'real feel' at noon everyday just because with the wind chill can kinda be deceiving compared to just the high temp. Last week the real feel at noon was zero one day.
Hi ya first time watching, healthy looking chooks (chickens ) good to see you wearing a mask i do. The three bay compost system is a preference of mine, you take care and stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🌾🪱♻️🥰
Are you in the Wichita area? Hillside Feed & Seed gets good onion starts in March typically, if you wind up needung more to fill out your planting space.
Hi Bre, I am getting more chicks this spring. I have 4 rescue chickens that aren’t doing much laying so I’ve decided I need some younger ones. Love your vlog. 😊
