And the Green Party is more interested in ruling than in building grassroots power at the local level. It is clear our politicians lack both the intestinal fortitude and the imagination to get many of our problems addressed.
Israel is a democratic ally that is under continuous attack, fighting for their very existence. Pretty clear Netanyahu needs to step down, a tough thing for any leader during time of war.

Biden is between a rock and a hard place, if he doesn’t stand by this hateful misguided man, it would be easy for AIPAC to acquiesce toward DJT, which would most certainly change our country in ways that are no longer reflective of a democracy. No question, this is eating away at Biden.
Here’s a theory. Long before October 7th, Netanyahu and his racist, right-wing government increased nightly deadly raids into Gaza, encouraged settler’s violent attacks on Palestinians throughout the West Bank, all while launching an all out assault on Israel’s last, lone pillar of democracy, its judicial systems. Netanyahu knew that these actions would eventually provoke a reaction, which it did on October 7th. Netanyahu is now employing a similar strategy - he’s trying to provoke a reaction - from Biden. Israel’s assaults are increasingly aggressive and designed to push Biden to the point that he will have no choice but to suspend additional arms sales. And Netanyahu will then direct all his energy to use that to try to tip the election to Trump. He’s deliberately taunting and provoking Biden - daring the spineless monster to halt the delivery of a single bullet. And when he does, he will hand a 2nd term to an even bigger criminal.
I think bibi is pushing Biden to start a war with Iran,. Biden will NEVER stop weapons gifts not sales to israel. Whatever israel does the usa government is behind them 100%.

Well, the Palestinians have a very effective voice or two or three up to and including the VP and the former speaker. Why didn't they bring up these raids before killing 1,000 people?
I don't know why but I suspect that they weren't prepared to discuss whether each "intrusion" of the IDF was justified. Most folks understand that many, many rocket attacks against civilian settlements of the Jewish People were launched from Gaza. Doesn't such an attack justify a raid?

@@mdabdulkaium293 -- Well, we don't know how many Palestinians have been killed this last year. The figures have been said to be somewhat north of 10k but south of 20k. Again, this started with attacks against civilians coming from Gaza.
Isn't this supposed to end if the hostages are released? I'm very behind in this situation as I've been sick and not paying close attention, so I'm seriously asking this. I remember when this horrible attack against Israel was carried out that Israel said they wouldn't stop until they either located their people or Hamas released them, but Hamas continues to hold hostages, right, despite the hell it brings on their own people?
