This happened in my city, Kolkata. My house is barely 1.5 kilometers away from YBK stadium, where the match took place. It was an insane day. People from all over India came to see him play, i know a guy who sold two ticket worth rupees 1500 each for rupees 2 lakh. He bloody brought a bike with that money 😂 i managed to watch the match with two friends. It was pandemonium that day in the city.

So I took my kids and family from Delhi to Kolkata to watch the match. It was unbelievable that we would be able to see Messi in flesh and blood. We tried to reach the stadium but it took 3 hours as all roads were packed with fans. We had to park our car and walked miles to get to the stadium. Every touch, every move Messi made was cheered by 75,000 fans in the stadium. It felt that Messi was our own. It was a dream come true to watch the GOAT in our City of Joy which has a connection with Argentina for many decades. Yesterday, the city again erupted in joy when it's favourite footballer lifted the World Cup! Kolkata loves Messi. We all do. Thank you for bringing so much joy to all of us.
