I say this all the time. Murray is out now, but there are others out there. If trading Reeves gives us a better player, we need to trade him. We get so attached to our players that we forsake the mission of the team: Rings over Everything!! I like Reeves, but i'm not making him (or anyone) untouchable if a trade with them makes us better!

The only player I said regularly to trade him for was Murray. I've hyped and defended Reavea more than most ppl but I'm also not married to anyone and don't believe anyone is untradeable. If it's a clear upgrade you do it. I love Lebron & AD but if Denver Called wanting to swap Jokic for Lebron I'd do that, if Milwaukee wanted to swap Giannis for AD I'd do that.

Durable, team friendly contract and can shoot. Plays the point, can also play off ball. Lack of physicality limits him defensively. Can't fight through screens at all.

Don’t need a trade. Coaching was the issue this past season. Ham ruined the team chemistry. Also with Murray is he better now? Yes but Murray is at his peak and Austin isn’t close to his. Once Austin’s reaches his peak he will be better than Murray especially if Austin puts more focus on defense.
It’s also depending on what you get back. I have yet to hear a target worth what is being asked.

I’m not impressed with Murray. Not for 2 firsts and a player or 2. That’s what it would have taken. The Lakers are trying to possibly build a team. Not revamp it completely every year. A 47 win team needs to tweak. Not overhaul. Zach Lavine? He has a contract that would require at least 2 of our current starters being traded. That’s not bright. Lavine is also injury prone. It will not make the Lakers better. Murray would NOT have been 23 and 9 on this team. Probably more like 16 and 6. Let’s be realistic.
Here’s the issue. No other team values AR the same way the lakers do. There is no trade available the lakers can make outside of giving up AR Rui AND 2 first round picks. The lakers won’t do that.
Always trying to stack a team… instead of developing one has caught up to the Lakers. Too much propitiation towards LeBron is front and center when it comes to understanding laker woes.

What is Reaves better at than Murray? Murray was an All Defensive Player and All star before going to the Hawks. Murray is a better scorer, more explosive, better defensively, more athletic, better playmaker, better rim pressure. Besides shooting what is Reaves better at? I'm also someone that has hyped Reaves like he's the second coming of Jordan, I have videos on this channel hyping him up and defending him but he's not better than murray
