- Calling all daredevils. You’re traveling through our Solar System when suddenly, you have the opportunity to reach out and touch our biggest and brightest celestial body.
Touching our Sun would require a heat-resistant spacesuit, the strongest sunscreen, sunglasses and a lot of courage.
The risks of touching the Sun are high. You could be instantly obliterated if you touched the Sun.
Could you take the heat?

That’ll be the last thing we touch 😭 That would be one heck of a way to go though 😭
a good death is it's own reward
@@allen57 There should be more common sense in this video

Hey I passed a science test thanks to you. Thanks what if
Congrats!!

Congratulations
Congrats!!🥳🥳
Congrats
3 years of cryosleep... Surviving through all those cores... Just to turn into ashes... Wow... Thats something to take into my bucket list❤️😍
Take me for the trip also 😂😂
@@prajwalpatil7632 U r welcome bro.. 😂
I don’t think that’s a good idea you’ll die before you reach it.
Me: sun vs semi truck
U good bro?
I would assume there is nothing from this earth that could resist the heat of being close to it.
Artificially generated magnetic field, but the energy required would be huge.
But that megnatuc field won't stop the heat
These guys are too damn good at narration … and they’re imparting knowledge as well.. kudos 👍🏾👍🏾
You know one thing, by looking to this subject it's pretty much obvious what is going to happen and that's very simple but it's your presentation which creat the temptations that's not avoidable
I always wondered for awhile what would happen if we got to touch the sun. Thank u for this video :)
Suggestion: what if all satellites exploded at once?
There is an another video they made here
Thanks for watching! We've already made that episode - you can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/eP9iL8Ymht8/видео.html
here's your answer shortly: YOU DIE 💀
0:40 WhatIf: IYAAAOUCH!!!!😱🔥🔥🔥☀️very awesome act😂😂👍✨
I wish you also listed where you got the cuts to those scenes you used for illustrations. Some of them I want to check out myself.
I think I know a few (most pretty obvious though lol)
1:57 2001
2:45 Aliens
3:02 Constantine, 2005 (I believe)
3:10 Hulk (2003)
4:20 Sorcerer's Apprentice
6:04 The Core, 2003 (Pretty sure)
Not much, but I hope it helps!
@@jenswonderfulworld6369 thanks man. I know most of them actually but this particular one got me curious 2:20
Great video what if your my favourite educational channel ever! Thanks for all the knowledge.
I love learning facts about space thanks for the info
Thanks for watching!
I really like your videos! I always have been wondering about what if a White Hole and Black Hole collided, a 20-magnitude earthquake, and other what-if videos! Thank you for answering all my questions using a short video!
Suggestion: What if there was no water on Earth?
Ikaris from Marvel: First time?
Thanks for solution of every questions in our mind🙏
I wish the Best of luck to everyone who thought this was a good idea! R.I.P
Wow! Learned many things about the sun. Thank you.
Thanks for stopping by. Stay tuned for more! 🙂
Great video! I love your videos. I have a suggestion, what if communication didnt exist?
Me who have 4 assignments to make
Notification: what if you touched the sun
Me: That's what I need right now
Shoutout to the cameraman💪🏽
The Sun is positively charged and the plasma is constantly in arc mode discharge. Photosphere is where almost all the fusion, heat and light generation occurs. Electric field of the Sun reaches all the way to heliopause which is negatively charged, electric field accelerates solar wind as it reaches heliopause. Cycles of Sun are driven by galactic birkeland currents going in and out of the poles.
You probably copied this from a website lol
I would melt in 2 seconds
Touch it for 1 second and you are safe
@uno reverse card man 0.5 seconds then
@@Pancake_lover_niko no 0.1
Actually 5x10^-3 seconds is fine
Love your videos
Keep going,you are doing great!!😀😀
This takes “the sun is a deadly laser” to a whole new level
Very interesting, thank you!
I love this channel🔥
Thanks for taking my advice 😀
You are helping me with my science work
Thanks for helping pass my science test this is gonna help me a lot
So cool,up close it looks a 🔥 burning!
Very awsome video ia m actually still in school. I watch all your space related videos. And i wish they taught all this at school.
Good job.
😀Surprised that there's a whole 7 plus minute video on this particular topic as I had already reasonably assumed that you'd vaporize instantly many miles before you'd even touch it. BUT this was a very interesting video nonetheless! Great job, guys.
Damn, you directly copied the top comment. Thats low....
Stolen
It's amazing that matter can even exist under these conditions.
Nice video.
Yes I like your videos they're amazing 👏
Amazing it's so interesting
Yes
Him: Ahh the Sun
Also em: Damn, Son
2:51, The Corona... This things being around us for 2 years... :(((
Fascinating and interesting
Big fan here...it is very interesting to learn new things about space here 😊
Suggestion : What If we nuked the sun
Well what would we feel if we touched the sun, hypothetically, based on it's structure?
Based on what they said, I don't think there's any "solid" or "liquid" surface to be touched, just like clouds.
5:08 That would be the perfect introduction to hell
That's one hot 🔥 topic!😄
Hehe
There is no possible way that you could touch the Sun with your space suit.
Aaaah, the sun☀... Pretty awesome 💙💙
Amazing video man you really make a fantastic job making these video, and taking about your video can you one day make a video about what if you eat takis all day that will be good
Nice question....
Like reaching the sun isn't a problem at all
If I touched the sun it would burn a lot less than the sarcasm my mother in law throws at me.
Oof that one stings
I got a question, what if the sun turned into a solid? And what would it take to accomplish that?
Store it inside the freezer
@@saranorton1357
XD NICE ONE LOL
Sun's mass would have to decrease very dramatically for it to get a solid surface. This means it would have to be a lot less massive and less big. This would cause Earth to have no heat or light from the rocky sun.
I knew it, what if will upload this kind of video about sun, after watched ‘’what if you fell in to Jupiter’’ vedio😎
nice video
45th comment and love your videos I'm a space nerd and your videos are so entertaining to watch
I always do this everyday. I touch it's photons everyday.
After seeing this my eyes burn 🔥
your videos are soo ineresting
Fun fact:if you look at the sun in space for 3 seconds your gonna be blind
I learn a lot
Yo what game was that in the beginning it looks dope
Make a video on what if we had 48hrs in a day instead of 24hrs in day
I was planning on touching the sun but after watching this I changed my mind.
Hey, I also past a science test, thank you
What if the sun started consuming the planets atmospheres ?
We'd all be dead
This is great by even with all the tech you would need to survive in space and all the fire suit you need you still couldn’t survive
How did we come to obtain all this info if we've never gotten that close to the sun?
What if videos are the Best !!!!! 🇧🇷👍👍
this is what you call touching grass to the next level 😂
That random Nutty Professor scene just made my whole week and now I want to find and watch the movies. Lmao
cool video keep going ur doing a good job👍
its cooler here than at the sun. The heat is like stepping on to a planet full of lava hotter than a volcano.
These videos are so cool!! But why does everything have to be explained in Meters, Kilometers Kilograms and degrees Celsius??
You have to pass every test in your life your so smart
I saw the title and was gone say something about the movie Sunshine yet that clip of the movie within 5 seconds of the video
What if, all the object have a gravity in the universe is disappear? Includes star, planet, and even black hole... Maybe just disappear for one second... But, it must have had a big impact.
Interesting thought. Thanks for sharing it with us.
@@WhatIfScienceShow Your welcome... :) I'm very curious... 😂😂😂
You wouldn't get anywhere near the sun before you started melting
It's like in MC Hammers song... You just "Can't touch this" ;)
The temperature of the sun’s core is like 27 million degrees F (15 million degrees C)
WOW!
This guy turned a 2 second answer into a 7 min video
Wait but if your space ship can go 163 km/s and sun is 149,000,000 kms away it would only take about 1 million seconds to get there
And 1 year is 31 million and 536 thousand seconds
So it would actually take 1/31th of a year to get there
Video idea: What if we didn’t ask. 🤷♂️ perfect 👍
Now I feel like touching grass is not as dangerous for discord mods
Him: fusion
Video at that moment: fission
I laughed when you said cooking
Short answer : before u even goes to closer to sun ur already dead
2:19 very cool clip
"ahh the sun " 😂😂😂
Pictured: If the offer's shunned. So, don't delay. Act now.
5:48 yeah if light will have a hard time escaping the sun then forget me I'm not gonna be stuck by the sun
Nice
Wow
Hers a good video idea What if we Terraform Pluto
A new twist on "Feel The Heat" and "A Brighter Day" indeed.
What meterials would u need to survive ? Simple Answer : "You cant."
Bruh bruh bruh
I think I know what happens.. But I'll watch this video anyway 😁
3:00 is that Ellie?
I was planning for traveling to the sun but after watching this video .It's better to stay at home 😆😪
