    As a kid I once had dreams of Becoming a Astronaut and Traveling these plants... Well that is up until I had this dream where I was Space walking on the Moon and I TRIPPED OVER A ROCK🤨... I mean it's space so HOW DO YOU TRIP SMH? Anywho Gravity somehow didn't allow me to catch my balance & I wound up hitting my Helmet over a rock and it CRACKED OPEN MY HELMET! I remember I was Gasping for Air, reminding you I'M STILL SLEEP... I then woke up Pouring in Sweat & BREATHING LIKE I RAN A MARATHON... Over my 36yrs it is STILL One of the WORST NIGHTMARES I'VE EVER HAD... Anyways that one dream Altered my Dreams of going to Space. I STILL Adore Space so Playing games like Mass Effect & StarField and watching these Videos have help me cope about my Original Dream so Thanks for this👍

    It's hard to wrap my head around the fact Saturn has no solid surface. It's beyond amazing that basically what we know as gases somehow formed into a jumbled ball of chaos. Really mind blowing.

    • @joncouncil4454
      @joncouncil4454 Год назад +3

      I'd say it does. It's our trying to make a gas giant fit the model of a rocky planet that's getting in the way that's the problem. Gas giant's are completely different animals and need to be respected as such. As any observation of a nebula should show, having all this gas just sitting in a single spot with enough gravity to hold itself together in a sphere without any kind of denser material makes no sense. Gas giants are clearly very massive densely packed rocky planets with massive amounts of lighter gases multitudes their diameter wrapped around them as their atmospheres. What we call their core IS their hard/molten surface. The true core can't even be measured, as the entire rocky body is probably in the same condition. Molten. That's how I choose to look at it.

    • @kevinemmers7025
      @kevinemmers7025 23 дня назад

      Titan has an atmosphere that is mostly nitrogen and is 1.5 times Earth’s atmospheric pressure. A mixture of ethane and methane is the liquid medium that goes through a process of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation much like water does on Earth. This same ethane methane mixture forms seas and rivers on the surface.
      Europa has a subsurface ocean beneath an icy crust. It was the discovery of thermal vents at the bottom of Earth’s oceans that could support a living ecosystem completely independent of the sun’s influence that led scientists to believe the same could happen in Europa’s subsurface ocean.

    Okay, Saturn again. To be honest, I don’t quite understand why everyone is talking about this particular gas giant when there is also Jupiter. Is he less interesting? Although for me personally these clumps of gas are not planets at all, how can this even be called a planet? And the video itself is very interesting, I have long wanted to know what will happen to a person if he decides to visit such a planet, and it is very eloquent to prove that these places are really hard to call a planet in the usual sense of the word.🤔

    • @bf99ls
      @bf99ls Год назад +2

      In the usual sense of the word? Well the usual sense is wrong. Planet does not mean solid rocky world and never has. Even if we ignore the current classification (which ‘demoted’ Pluto), it was a term used over two and a half millennia ago to describe the movements of ‘stars’ that didn’t follow the so called fixed stars, but wandered across the sky as observed over time. The word planet means wanderer. Planets don’t wander though: it’s just that when their orbit took them around the far side of the sun as seen from Earth, it looked like they described a loop in the sky.
      But hey, go ahead and tell astronomers and others they are wrong about what a planet is, and that you think the gas giants should not be called planets. I’m sure they will act on your side advice immediately.

      Whether they are called planets, planetoids, dwarf planets, asteroids, etc, they all orbit the sun. Astronomical classification is for the benefit of astronomy only, and has no effect on the objects they describe. Quite why so may non scientist get upset about it is a mystery.
      Put another way, everything that orbits the Sun is a satellite. That is true, whether it orbits on its own (like Mercury or Venus) or has other satellites orbiting around it.

    Dont poke fun at me too hard if im really wrong about this but wouldn't saturn's (and every other gas giant's) core be their surface? In my head the surface begins wherever the gas becomes solidified by the preasure of everything on top of it... Im no astrophysicist so be gentle if i just said sum stupid
