This is probably the best video I've seen on the pentatonic scale and the usage of it from an advanced beginner standpoint. It made it click and all come together. Great job!
Ive been having so many aha! moments lately. After decades of playing and just being content playing rhythm. I was gifted a Strat from a late uncle and decided to start taking lead more seriously. This video gave me another aha moment. I kinda knew the minor positions but never figured out the major minor flip. Now I get it. Thanks!
Just recently discovered your channel and l must say your videos are very helpful for me, you are a very good guitar instructor. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and keep up the good work. Subscribed. 👍🎸
I’ve been playing for a looooong time and are finally starting to get it even though I’ve been a lead player in many bands I would learn the solos but when it came to improv I sucked at best and now decided to put in the time to start sounding melodic and I’m glad this popped up on my feed Thanks Dude
It drives me nuts that all the teachers on line insist on playing the first position scale up and down every time they mention it. If you’re looking for information on improving your improvisation, you already know that scale without thinking. Just get on with it.
Additional info that would have been helpful is that when you went up the neck to different positions, to either name the starting point fret number, or label the note diagram..

The goal of the channel is to deliver as many “aha” moments as possible. I hope to deliver more for you in the future

I'm a jailhouse guitar player, I'm always behind a few bars and I can never find the right key.
