The types of samples that can be used to measure diffuse reflectance include those examples shown in the video - eg powders and pigments in paints, although nearly any solid sample could be measured (eg paper, plastics, coated metals and wood). The Remote DRA with the Cary 60 allows these samples to be measured without sample preparation and without damaging the sample as shown in the video. The Cary 60 has an excellent photometric range but the range of concentrations that can be measured will depend on the absorbance of the analyte and the analysis wavelength.

Yes, if the reflectance measurement is simple then the Cary 60 with Remote DRA will be the ideal tool for the measurement.
