I am training for a job that requires mastery of Agilent MassHunter quant and qual software, and I am working with reverse-phase HPLC/tandem MS machines. Do you have any videos that can supplement my training? It would be a great help, thanks.
Tuning the Agilent ICP-MS instruments is made simple and automated with Auto Tuning. This ensures the instrument is always optimized, independent of the operator. There is a video available on our eFamiliarization guide provided with all Agilent ICP-MS. You will find the “Tune Overview” video under MassHunter Basics in the menu.
For organic analysis it is recommended to ignite the plasma in organic mode while aspirating isopropanol (IPA). Tuning and optimization of plasma parameters, lens parameters and ORS parameters should be performed by aspirating a 1 ppb tuning solution prepared from an inorganic Stock Tuning solution (Part No. 5188-6564) diluted in IPA. Please see relevant application note for further information: www.agilent.com/cs/library/applications/5991-3538EN.pdf
Also keep an eye on the reflective power before performing the hardware tune. Perform an auto rf matching if it is high. The shunt capacitor may need to be recalibrated for lower reflective power.

How to know if there is sample aspiration problem??
Can you show how to optimize the system by tunning
