    Those use to come with the case, oil, 3 set of sights, some different sizes grip pads, 2 mags and a red book with manual. Now they come as you got it. Also the Cali model has the loaded chamber indicator, no fast action trigger and mag won’t drop.

      @@gunsammodrones yes I agree. Got mine for 259$ at Turners r for tax and DROS. I’m fine with one 10 round mag and a cardboard box at that price. Will you be making a range video or follow up on the FMK 9C1 G2?

      I gave the pistol to my son when he moved… I wont be doing any videos with it

      @@comeoncents3288 I got mine last month (Dec. 2024), also a California model, and I got the same deluxe set. A pistol, a 10 round magazine, a QR code to download the manual, and package stuffing. I bought 4 more mags simply because I'd rather load a box of rounds all at once (with my cheap-ass speed loader, 3 for like $13, it takes a little over a minute and a half to load 50 rounds). I pumped 400 rounds through it at the range and had 1 (one) failure to eject. That's it. Other than the heavy trigger pull (my gauge puts it between 8-10 pounds), I'm impressed with it. It's my first slide-gun, all my others, all my life, are revolvers. At 65 years of age, I thought it was time to try something different. I'm currently on day 4 of my 10 waiting period for my Springfield Armory XD9 3". I can't wait to try them together!

      @@oldergent5266 I’m glad you like your FMK. You can drop in the 805 FAT ( fast action trigger) to shorten that trigger pull. It will also drop the magazine free when the mag release is pressed. I’d like to know how you compare the XD9 to the FMK , being new to semi automatic pistols.

      @@gunsammodrones That's what I thought! Even though the reviews on RUclips slant to the negative side, I thought I would risk it and bought one.
      First day at the range I fired three or four magazines of FMJ ammo. A few times it failed to "go into battery" but a sloght TAP on the butt of the slide ended that situation.
      I had one or two failures to feed or eject which were no problem BUT not something you need in a firefight. But, I figure it may be due to break in as the last magazine ran perfect.
      So more ammo and another trip to the range after Halloween is on thr calendar.

    i never cared about this gun back when it hit the market, but im glad to see they are still around, the covid crisis is basically keeping them alive and might just save them by putting enough of their guns out there for people to experience, at the end of the day i rather have this than a hipoint , it really tells you in how much trouble they are in that every other manufacturer is selling everything at higher prices, even hipoint, and in the middle of this pandemic they are selling these for less than 200$

    Update
    Loaded chamber indicator is not required in all states. I called FMZ and asked them about it. I prefer it without. Less components to deal with.
    Finally got around to shoot the FMZ. First magazine 1 failure to elect
    Second magazine clean shoot
    Third magazine clean shooting rapid
    Forth magazine clean shoot
    Fifth magazine clean shoot rapid fire.
    The FMZ in my opinion faired well. One failure to eject no problem. I didn't do anything to the gun before shooting. Basically straight out the box. The sights well kind of like the glock. To me has that glock grip angle adjust.
    Magazine released fine.
    The trigger pull to me is comparable to the glock. No stove piping.
    Little recoil comfortable in the palm of the hand. I have a little trouble with the trigger guard are by the grip my middle finger knuckle rides the edge where the trigger guard gets narrow. Not a big deal.
    Good shooting gun

    I purchased one for $239.00. It's coming in a brown box i know. I don't care for cases anymore. I have 3 and dont use them. The cases just take up space. Guns go in the safe. I read mixed reviews some sounded too reserved to actually give a good enough review. I went with my gut since the price was so low and most of the reviews I seen were more positive than negative.

    do not use reloaded ammo, for the beginners, reload means they recycle the ammo shells. New factory ammo and reloaded ammo are only 1 or 2 dollar difference so always opt for the new, factory ammo. I'm a newbie and didn't know any better. The FMK 9C1 did not do well at the gun range with their reloaded ammo. It actually got stuck in the barrel. Can get really unsafe if you drop the gun while trying to snap it back out. Mine jammed 3 times and on the 3rd time we had to take a hammer and pin and hammer it out of the barrel. The next day i tried out some factory new remington ammo and all 50 rounds cleared fine. STAY AWAY FROM RELOAD AMMO with the FMC 9C1.

    Hello Everybody!!
    I'm one of the cheapest misers you're ever going to meet. It is my opinion that purchasing a gun should not be reserved for the people with loads of discretionary income. Nor is there an income clause in the 2nd Amendment. As with everything else in life, the money you can spend is unlimited, the real trick is to buy a reasonably useful product for as little as possible.
    "Only a fool spends more than he has to!" - grand-pappy.
    So, I just ran into a retailer that is selling the FMK 9C1 G2 straight from the factory in a brown box, with one magazine and a manual for the amazing price of $229.99. I've watched many reviews on this gun, and the word is a mixed bag. This gun enjoys a love/hate relationship with the gun world's pundits and opinionaters. It's tough to know what to do in this case, I don't want to spend over $200- on a paper weight. Any thoughts? Let it rip!

    • @gunsammodrones
      @gunsammodrones  4 года назад

      You wont get a paperweight but I was a bit disappointed when I got mine... I also got the brown box special... Mine didnt come with the loaded cocked indicator... Its an ok gun for $200 but I personally would spend the extra cash and get a G series Taurus... G2C or G3 are excellent guns and not much more than the FMK and you get 2 mags with them...

    • @FoxholeIndustries
      @FoxholeIndustries 4 года назад +2

      I had a G2C. I sold it because the market is so up for guns and got 400 for it after spending 225 on it. I order d one of the FMKs for 198 with the intention of having it as an extra gun or selling to someone who needs one and can’t get one. The Taurus was flawless. Hoping I get a good fmk. I probably wouldn’t want this as my primary weapon or carry gun. Unless I put s lot of rounds through it and it was reliable. The Taurus never had a malfunction. But for 198 I could not pass it up. Could probably sell for 300 the day it comes in. I’ll have to wait though. It’s in backorder until November.

    I just got the FMK 9C1, california version. It has a april 2020 production date. I tested 30 rounds at the range with no issues. The double action doesn't bother me at all, I actually prefer the simplicity of it vs the single action. With all the sketchy reviews of this gun, I was just happy it worked lol!! I was going to swap it out to their single action option but now I don't feel the need to. I don't ever intend to use it, it's just a home self defense gun given the current times we live in.

      "I don't ever intend to use it", why did you buy this gun if you don't intend to use it. If it is that horrible, and you knew that going in, you could have purchased a SCCY or a Hi-Point for home defense for under $200-. So why? I suspect that a lot of you guys just say shit because that's what you think people want to hear. If you bought the gun, you have no issues with it, then own it.
