A Game Where Debuffs Make You Stronger

In today's video I talk about my personal review of Crystar released by Gemdrops Inc. and publisher FuRyu. I got this game on sale via Steam and figured I would share my opinion after my playthrough. As an interesting mechanic in this game is based around debuffs making your character stronger.

I'm honestly glad devs choose multiple playthroughs for true ending instead of ridiculous sidequest/dialogue choice fuckery though. Also, never knew revenants inflict stat down debuffs upon death until seeing this video, well damn, then again, i guess those were just barely noticeable, didn't even struggle that much farming stages on hard. Also it's not just you, Kokoro really is useless sadly, they could've done more with her gameplay-wise like making her a heavy hitter with long animations, akin to Ami from Crymachina, on the other hand other characters are great, Rei is jack of all trades, Sen is essentially stat stick/great for clearing normal enemies or revenants and 777(NaNaNa) is great for shredding bosses. Only got true ending on pirated version(and the boss videos are uploaded from that time too), but definitely going to come back to this masterpiece one day and get all achievements.

I have this game physically on PS4 recently for $30. Yet to play it but the idea interested me and wanted to see a review

I have some more off the wall games coming but they did also make Oninaki if you were interested in another game from these guys.
