I wish I was better. I may not have done even a fraction of what a lot of others have done in terms of sin, but what I did do was enough warrant my Lord Jesus to have six inch iron nails hammered into His hands and feet and hoisted on a cross after being beaten, spit upon, whipped and put through two mock trials and found guilty when He was not. Jesus is the one who saved me and I never deserved it. He loved me for my entire life and it took me until I was 19 to turn to Him to be saved.

We love because God first loved us. But God still calls us to do His work. And to the extent we fail to reciprocate the Holy Spirit, we can fail terribly. Ephesians 2: 8-10 says, "For by grace you have been saith through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ for good works, which God prepared beforehand they should walk in them." Failure to do the work God prepared for us to walk in is ALSO a failure on our part to participate in God's will. ❤️

I am a survivor of human trafficking and have been in recovery from addiction for over 2 years. Pain led me the Christ. Prison led me to Christ. He made me stronger. I still have struggles and depression that the energy tries to attack me with. But God has brought me so far. But God keeps renewing me more and more. I pray for those stuck in addiction, that they know there is no shame and Jesus loves us so much more than we could ever fathom. Be blessed.

Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling and not try to work out the salvation of others the way we want it to be.
Did not the Ethiopian eunuch come to believe in Christ? I don’t recall Philip telling him about sin and repentance. At least it’s not recorded in the book of acts. Scripture leads readers to believe the eunuch became a believer and was saved and that Phillip was too but he didn’t tell him about repentance and sin.

I was led to Christ in jail, and He revealed to me His divinity as well as His humanity (I believed He died in the flesh and rose again) and I understood that He is not a concept, or simply a good teacher. HE IS AND WAS A PERSON, HE IS GOD, AND HE IS ALIVE. He showed me my sin, and ever since that day He has revealed His powerful hand on my life, my circumstances, my mind, and my heart, every day. He showed me that He has His hand on the entire world, and on every person that Ive ever seen or known. Jesus is my Lord, and may I do His will always.
We receive the same wage on the 11th hour because His blessing and grace is immeasurable.

@@micahsnow346Yes. He's just saying that forgiveness only helps YOU personally. If you broke my arm, and I forgave you, will my arm be better? No. However, I will feel emotionally better knowing that I have let go of the anger in my heart after forgiving you.
Forgiveness helps us all, but on a personal level, the forgiveness is best for the forgiver.

I love this. Fear of suffering is what has kept me running from following Christ. I was taught as a child that suffering is part of our walk with the Lord. I watched my mother suffer through crisis after crisis. She held fast to her faith. I decided i wanted no part of that life. I struggle daily to get back into the loving arms of Jesus. Please pray for me. I am a believer gone astray.

@@Jade_902you're not obligated to forgive those who do not ask for it. Jesus forgives those who come to him and ask. God does not carry the burden of forgiving those who choose to live separate from him and neither should you. "Don't carry the burden that God himself does not carry."
And if that person does seek forgiveness, you are not obligated to restore them to where they were before in your heart. Only to neutral ground. God wants you to forgive when it's asked of you. Hope this helps.

I’m a survivor of trauma, abuse, bullying and stalking that almost caused me to take my own life! When my PTSD takes over, and panic attacks begin and I feel a lone again. I understand
this could be Gods plan and purpose for me! The pain will never go away, but I’ve learned to just cope with for the past 15 years! I think about Jesus and what he went through! Maybe, just maybe I am cared about too!

Jesus gave me the grace to forgive my brother in law for not only the pain and suffering that he caused my sister but ultimately causing her death. It was not easy but I exchanged my pain and broken heart for His grace and peace.

@@bradmarkell12167 earth dad died in a car wreck. I tried to find fulfillment and love in earthly things such as women and substances. Nothing could fulfill my soul, besides the holy Father. Found forgiveness bc He forgave me

It took me a very long time, turning to all kinds of destructive things to try and cope with the deep pain and brokenness that I carried… God finally allowed me to run so far and to mess up so much that I was in a place of complete abandon where I knew without a doubt that I did NOT deserve to even speaks work to Him much less ask for help… But I did it anyway, and that’s precisely when He rescued me and began to change my life. He never gives to! I’ve messed up, I’ve made bad choices, but He never gives up! And that grace, mercy, and LOVE is exactly what changes our hearts and enables us to heal and break free from our chances. It’s a beautiful design by a beautiful God! Praise Jesus ❤️
