Well I posted a comment and it magically disappeared so sorry if you get two. That was pretty funny watching you do that tire lol. Glad you got it, but sucks that it leaks after all that hassle ☹️ My dad made a bead breaker for doing tires that works really well, being a welder, you could probably easily make one up for yourself. I subbed to your channel and followed you on instagram! I have a little channel where I do stuff on my own bikes too; I have a shovel and a dyna. Anyway, have fun!
Hey thanks! I checked about a week ago and the leak seems to have cleared up 🤔 not sure if that silicon just had to completely set or what. I’ll definitely still have to keep an eye on it. I’ll look into building myself one! I’ve seen your channel before actually! Glad to have ya!
@@coleyellowbirdwelds well that’s nice it stopped itself! If you have an email associated with your RUclips I can send you pics of the bead breaker my dad made if you want it for reference.
just a tip, theres a tape for mountain bikes that is used to seal the spokes to make them tubeless, works great im certain it would work perfect for moto tire tubeless tire tape
the other end of your valve stem tool (the one that came free with the tire tools) should tread on to your valve stem. this is used to pull the tubeless stem through the rim.
the bead thats already on the wheel needs to be in the trench - that way it moves the bead your leavering further out- also dont be greedy you were trying to leaver to much bead at a time - but the real top tip - is use a fan heater to heat up the tire before you start - makes the rubber soft and flexible
Have a look for tire bead seating video using a bicycle inner tube. A couple of plastic drop center tools can make the whole thing easier. They keep the bead opposite where you are trying to lever, down in the wheels drop center.
Don’t know if you have sorted this yet but on the tubeless conversions on my mtb I use tyre goo. Basically it’s designed to seal holes in the tyre when being an idiot in the woods. I wonder if that would work with chopper wheel tubeless conversion as well? I am keeping tubes in my chop wheels but a little may seal your spokes up a treat.
I haven’t done anything about it yet. But I sprayed it down a couple nights ago and it seems to have cleared up. Not sure if maybe that silicone just needed more time to cure or what. I’ll definitely look into this though! Maybe wouldn’t hurt to shoot some in there just as a precaution. Thanks!
Nice! i had a bad time putting a avon speed master on the front, pinched a hole in the inner tube ad had to re-do it. Is that the micky thomson 30091? ive been suggling to find 15 tyres in Australia, the firestone 5.60 15 is about $480 usd here.
@@Hawtdawgwatah didn't say it was negative dawgwatch, i enjoyed it... just, being a spanner monkey myself, ive felt the frustration of only usin spoons, beads not sittin, flames n broken skin. hope not to have offended . twas just hard to watch.

Yea they are expensive to get into Canada too. Not many options for a 15 that’s why I went this route. I’m not entirely sure what tire it is honestly.
I'll do this at your own risk.
im an engineer ... got an engine ere, and here, and here
p.s. whole thing was hard to watch
Thanks for watchin man!
Being a virgin in 2024 is something to be proud of man! Keep on keeping on
Why’d you watch the whole thing if it was hard to watch? Southern dime
