Learn the coagulation cascade or blood clotting cascade/pathway also known as secondary hemostasis and learn what the extrinsic and intrinsic pathways are simply and easily!
Hey guys! In this video I explain and (attempt to) simplify the coagulation or clotting cascade, which is also known as secondary hemostasis. I provide tips and tricks to help to remember and memorize the coagulation cascade pathway. In later videos I will be covering different aspects involving hematology with emphasis on primary hemostasis, regulation of coagulation and laboratory tests PT (prothrombin time) and aPTT (activated partial thrombin time).
