BANGKOK, THAILAND: Easily the best all around seafood restaurant I’ve been to in Bangkok is Baan Pu Khai Dong (ร้านบ้านปูไข่ดอง) a restaurant where owner and chef P’Note sources his own seafood and also often goes fishing himself in Southern Thailand and brings back the catch to serve at the restaurant. Tonight we’re eating a huge seafood meal, and along with the best ever Thai pepper crab, P’Note served us an omakase meal of all the parts of a 40 kg. Giant grouper fish! #Bangkok #Thailand #seafood

We started this Thai seafood meal with the fresh giant grouper. P’Note and staff are highly skilled at parting and slicing fish. They parted it out, and actually for our meal we enjoyed some of the lesser known parts of the giant grouper, but some of the best tasting - like the collar, cheeks, and face. The pepper crab was loaded with green pepper, garlic, and kaffir lime leaves. Another favorite dish here are the penshells, or sometimes razor clams if available cooked Hong Kong style with tons of garlic, green onions, and mung bean noodles - the best!
Usually we eat at Baan Pu Khai Dong (ร้านบ้านปูไข่ดอง) at least once a week because the food is so incredible good, and fresh, and consistent. Come to Baan Pu Khai Dong (ร้านบ้านปูไข่ดอง) for the best seafood meal in Bangkok!

So happy for you guys! That is the dream! My wife and I play to travel at least once a year, we try to cook dishes all the time inspired from different cultures, but to go, and experience it with the people, the accents, the languages, the architecture, the scenery, the atmosphere, the unique ingredients of the area, the authenticity of the foods.. you just can't beat it.
I love NYC, and all the different cultures we have here, and foods we have... but we need to explore the world, nothing more I want to do but to take my love across the world for the rest of our lives, and make her happy... somehow I feel like I'm gonna end up like the old man in Up lol, or vice versa.... Gotta start living.

It’s funny. I’m stuck in quarantine until June 23, 2021 watching Mark eat and thinking how nice it would be to meet up and eat stuff with him. The food in quarantine is good, BUT this stuff looks so much better! Thanks Mark for helping me pass the time more pleasantly!

Hey Mark. I just want to use this opportunity to say Thank you for the content that you create. I’m from Cape Town South Africa and we have a huge Malaysian influence in the Cape Town way of cooking. I have noticed that some of the dishes that you show, we have as well but the ingredients and the way it is prepared might differ in some ways. Today my wife and I visit a Thai restaurant here called “Simply Asia” and I had called “Massaman Curry”. I enjoyed it so much that my wife laughed when I said “ Wow” the way you do. I could taste the sweetness and yet feel the spice of the chilli and the peanut in it. Hoping one day that I would the opportunity to visit Thailand and some of the places to show on your other channel. Or maybe you and your family can visit Cape Town. We will be glad to host you. Mark, I have been recovering from an accident and have watched many of your wonderful videos for entertainment and help in recovery and enjoyment I need going through this. This episode of "Seafood Insanity" which was SUCH a pleasure to review was FAB about the preparation of the Giant Grouper and the massive Fillets were sooo exciting....particularly the Cheeks of the Grouper....which is the HIGHEST demand of the Grouper!...along with the Fin... 1 and 1/2 Kilo of the entire Table of parts...assembled. Also, the assembled Garlic Crab with sauce...Insanely Delicious! And the Giant Grouper Soup with Garlic and Ginger sauce...Lord have Mercy!. I am planning in the next year or so from recovering and the ability to go Thailand....and NOTHING would be better than the ability to eat a fantastic meal at Ban Pu Khai Dong. Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I will keep it as a reminder where I wish to visit. As always, my thanks!

As many videos as I watched with Mark eating seafood with that seafood sauce, I’m dying to know what is this sauce made of? It makes me want to eat it with lol
Common recipe would be
Chilli, Garlic, Lime Juice, Salt, Sugar and coriander root
It tastes so good and go well with many dishes
I love the Thai seafood sauce
I keep nodding my head along with Mark in agreement with how good the food tastes without tasting it, that's how good all of this looks! I also want to point out how impressive it is they have used almost EVERY part of that grouper and made it delicious. I'm just as jealous as all of you!

J'ai eue la chance de manger du mérou ,pendant toute ma jeunesse ,mais c'es certainement celui que mon oncle à chassé durant 7 ans avant de l'avoir 9 kg ,qui m'a laissé un souvenir mémorable énorme ,nous l'avons dégusté de la même manière sous toutes ses formes et c'est la seule fois où j'ai dégusté la moelle de poisson !
