- Using its Brush 13 Type 3 4x4 wildland engine, Aurora Fire Rescue crews pulled two ambulances out of the snow after the Falck Rocky Mountain units got stuck on residential neighborhood streets early this morning. In less than 15 minutes, AFR got the ambulances out of the snow and on their way to transporting a non-critical patient to the hospital. The Brush 13 truck typically is used for wildland fires but has been upstaffed during the snowstorm to assist stranded motorists and emergency vehicles that become stuck in the snow.
