LOL - thanks for the short, to the point video and I agree people talk waaay too much! I've got a composting toilet in my RV now (AirHead) and wish I had gotten something like this instead, which is why I'm investigating now. This seems so much easier, just wondering how much the supplies cost over time, but the simplicity and sanitary nature of this makes it much better than composting, IMHO. THANKS!
Excellent review of the Wrappon toilet. You answered nearly every question that I had. I’m interested in building a Wrappon into the head compartment of my boat. If you get the opportunity, would you show your solution to the DC plug 🔌? Thank you for a great video !
Great demonstration for the wrappon toilet. I too am converting one to full-time dc feed from my house battery system. I am wondering if you just cut the specialized dc plug cable running from the ac/dc converter and then re-attached the remaining plug-end cable to your 10awg house battery cabling? I assume, using the diagram on the ac/dc converter, that the v1 , v2 prongs are both 12 volt feeds to the toilet presumably to supply both the gear mechanism and "heater" sealing unit using the 12volt input in parallel. The cable for mine has the v1 and v2 + 10awg wire as a single core cable and they have the 2 ground wires as a coaxial wrap around the insulated positive core. Did you just twist the surrounding ground wiring together as one cable and then attach that ground cable and the core cable to your house battery wiring or find some neat adaptor to use in connecting the dc cable to your dc system. For those that may be reading this question, be aware that if all else fails, Wrappon does make a cigaret adaptor dc cable as an accessory for sale at about 100.00 for the 30 foot cable but, like you, I wanted to try to direct wire it to my house battery system. Sorry for the long winded question. Thanks for any insights to the splicing / dicing or adaptors you may have used. Again, thanks for the video, it helped me get over my anxiety of taking the toilet innards out and putting them in my wet bath! Cheers, Bob
I bought a 709-DCPLUG-P1J-R7B and a B088ND3F43 and leave the DC plug in the toilet and disconnect the extension - works great. One major note though - the polarity is reversed so I had to cut the extension and rewire black to red and red to black. But for under $20, I'm happier than the OEM $100 alternative.
Great video. If you get a chance I’d love to know the toilet dimensions as removed from its aluminum box. Basically, length and width of that tan plastic top and the minimum depth needed to allow the sealed bag to drop. Thanks!
I wonder if the Dekcor diaper pail biodegradable liners would work? Same concept for refill, just unsure of inner diameter needed to clear toilet opening. Let me know!
Lol- will you actually talk a little more😂- would love to see your demo/framing and wiring set up. I have had the separett toilet. Such a hassle and yeah it still smells. So BOAT (break out another thousand) and get a new turlet.😂 I think they have a new DC cord for the wrappon also. AND where did you purchase said turlet? Directly from the co or amazon?
Hey there, great video! Unless I'm mistaken, did you remove the toilet apparatus from the green Wrappon box and insert it into your own wooden shell? If so, I am looking to do the EXACT same thing in a car camper! Can you please explain how you removed the toilet apparatus from the Wrappon box? Was it difficult? Finally... If I make a wooden box similar to yours (maybe a bit shorter though), do you think I'd still have enough headroom to sit comfortably in a Toyota Prius with the back seats taken out and the box in it's place? Im average size, about 5'10'' if that helps. New subscriber!!!
I don't even know how to respond to that... Taking a shit in a Prius? Dude... Sienna... and if you didn't hear about William Shattner ("Shitener") Fans are recommended
Thanks for posting this. I’ve been eyeing this toilet too. Install looks great! Are you happy with functionality of the wrappon as far as doing its job as a toilet?
We hope you have better luck than us with your Wrappo On, we also have the green one, once we loaded the replacement bags that had Asian writing on them our toilet no longer will melt them shut. We have contacted the USA dealer with no help at all, Have you had this problem ? We are not happy with spending so much and not getting any support from them, not good.
Now that you’ve had this for a while, how are you finding it? I’m wondering how functional a non-diverting toilet can be - how safe is using this for pee?
@@johnspringer63 Man - lucky you. Our leaks about a third of the time (and we flush after each use). We've been through one full bag roll and the second roll is doing the same. Now I'm doing research to find out if it's ours or other's too - sounds like you're not having any issues.
@The Osborns We actually tried putting water in the toilet after 'flushing', figuring the water would leak and give us a heads up. Oddly, the water never leaked, even after sitting in there like a day. We did that close to ten times and not one leak. The leaks always occurred after the subsequent flush (though still from the bottom of the bag). Our best guess is the coagulant is somehow doing something unexpected, or maybe the heat is unsealing the bag? Though mixing fresh pee with water that's been at room temperature for a day should cool it down.
I watched a different RUclips video on the same toilet and it basically heats seals your waist into a pouch then cuts the pouch off leaving you with a sealed bag of waste that can be disposed of like a diaper. It’s a long bag in a cartridge with 50 pouches/ flushes. It cost about $300 more than the Leveo dry flush toilet but that one is $90 for three 15 flush cartridges this one is $62 for a 50 flush cartridge . It was developed in Japan after the big earthquake and tsunami that left tens of thousands of people without power and running water for many months.
Thank you for the demonstration. Mostly, thank you for the “talk to much” statement of truth!!!!
Great clip man short and informative.
love how you ended it...the 'talk to much' comment is so accurate...speak the truth brother...lol
Thank you for that fast review haha...
Great idea
The comment at the end! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes! Thanks for this.

The toilet runs on 12v DC and is easily wired for it.
You’re so right about “other sprinter vloggers” ha ha!! So it looks like the ring of baggies is the only thing you have to keep buying… correct?
ending line shoulda been get to the point and "cut out the crap"
How strong is the plastic bag and the seal. Asking if the plastic is thick enough that it doesn't make a accidental mess.

So where does the used bag go? How do you remove it?
It drops into a dish tub with a small plastic bag liner...

Amen. Give me the info and move on. Thank you.
Hell yeah, almost everybody talks too damn much!
How are you liking this is today?
Yeah. Literally every channel about vanlife are like 30 minutes long. I don't understand.
Can you use it one bag daily? Is it going to smell?

You have to get to that 10 min mark for RUclips
Never about the money... only fun, food and drink! The money will follow... which is a BS line... but who cares I am too happy drunk to notice!
Now that you’ve had this for a while, how are you finding it? I’m wondering how functional a non-diverting toilet can be - how safe is using this for pee?
It did not seal well when I pee'd in it 3 times before "flushing"... but the backup plastic bag lined tub below avoided the mess.

@The Osborns It appears that the seal isn't holding.

Laveo looks better if you don’t mind paying more for the refills
So you have a change the bag every time you go? Jeez, I'd need 40 bags per week.

Thank you Jules! Sorry Dave... little secret... Meta Mucil
@@johnspringer63 Meta mucil helps you poop. I take citrucel every day. My issue is having to pee so frequently.
Thank You...yes get to the point.
“talk to much” :) lol
Kinda noisy though
