Third-person on-rails shooter starring a muscle-bound trooper with what appears to be a metal arm, Dynamite Duke has all the ingredients for what should have been an awesome Op Wolf-style experience.
Unfortunately, I found the game lacked much in the way of charm, and the gameplay turned out to be quite monotonous, not to mention difficult. I guess the game provided a level of inspiration for future titles, and the foreground melee idea was pretty neat, but I have to confess I just didn't like it very much. I believe there was conversion to the Sega Genesis, but I don't know how that compares to the arcade original.

I remember completing the game in a local pizza joint and got super bummed at the end because of the In Memoriam.
One of the artists that died before the game shipped I guess.

Quite a nice game overall, and good work by the team.
Especially like the Uppercuts and high kicks (and blocking) with the enemies and bosses up front.

I appreciate that you've clearly taken the time to become very skilled at this game, and aren't playing with an invincibility cheat. Well done!
(It's also interesting to see how this game ties into other Seibu Kaihatsu games, like "Empire City 1931" and "Dead Angle". Clearly similar DNA, so to speak.)
