It’s pretty baller that some folks have made their own cover versions from this game.
This one slaps so good I’m not sure if I can match the energy, but what I’m kinda looking for is a version of the songs from this game with some musical talent involved- because like 27 years ago I made my own lyrics to these songs.
8 bit chip tunes don’t feel like they have the same vibe-
But this has a whole new vibe, and I’m like damn, do my words even match this level of talent?

Daaaaaaaamn, this remix slaps so friggin' hard, like holy shit. Perfectly captures the energy of the original and cranks it up to 11 with the guitar and sax. Yet another easy like and addition to the favorites playlist :P

@@amydevonshire4652 Actually, both chips are sample chips, and the sound similarity doesn't come from the chip's capabilities, but for the samples used (take note that this only applies to sample-based chips).

Yo, why does the stage and music look and sound like it's for Megaman X?
Not sure about the stage's look because it's the Game Gear footage of Sonic 2. But as far as the sound, this is a CPS-2 remix that the uploader put together and CPS-2 was the engine that Capcom used for their arcade games from 1993-1996, starting with Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers. The guitar sound at 0:38 was definitely used throughout the early Megaman X games on SNES.
