Dr. Eithan Haim Exposed Texas Children’s Hospital for Secret Transgender Program

- Last spring, former Texas Children’s Hospital surgeon and current whistleblower Dr. Eithan Haim exposed, in his words, that the hospital was lying to the public about the existence of their transgender program. Despite promises to cease such procedures, the hospital continued practicing transgender medicine on kids as young as 11.
Texas legislators responded to the information revealed by Haim with the bi-partisan Senate Bill 14, outlawing transgender medical interventions on minors statewide. This ignited controversy and drew the ire of activists and hospital officials opposing any restrictions on transgender medicine.
Eithan’s story took a legal turn as federal agents, presumably armed with internal server data, pursued him. He’s been threatened with prosecution from the federal government, and there is clearly a message being sent around those that seek to challenge the practice of transgender medicine and specifically in context of children.
In our sit down with Haim, accompanied by his attorney Marcella Burke, we discuss his views on the dangers of transgender medicine for children, why he’s committed to protecting them from life-altering procedures, and the in depth story of everything that he has experienced over the last year.

UPDATED: Hello my friends. This is a very difficult episode and conversation. And I've seen enough comments below regarding my interview approach (too much interrupting and talking) to re-watch and leave a note of follow up here. Thank you all for the feedback! It is very helpful. I know people say "don't read the comments"... but I do and I do so with an open mind and heart, or at least I try to.
In general, I try to be honest and conversational in this podcast, but I must admit that I was especially worried in this case of the three of us piling on with an issue that's super divisive and involves innocent children and lots of tragedy. We are not personally objective here. All three of us believe that these procedures are exploitative and abusive of innocent children at a naturally confusing time in their lives. But I can also say that my heart BREAKS for the families trapped in this situation, even if it's out of a mix of confusion and neglect.
So I was inclined to table-set more than I usually do and, from time to time, interrupt to make sure medical terms being used would get explained right in the moment. It was more than usual. I'll put myself on a tighter leash next time.
The fact that Dr. Haim caught the biggest children's hospital on earth lying to the public about their practices is shocking. That this is in my adopted new home state is equally so. I tried to avoid excessive editorializing here, though not perfectly I must admit. But as a parent, this is all very difficult to process. Let's process it together... and keep these families and especially the kids in our hearts and prayers. They are suffering and being exploited.

We KNOW that as a result of this story and the Boston story these programs will go underground AND they will monitor employees very closely to intimidate them and prevent future whistleblowing.

It is a strange faith-based feedback loop between doctors and patients, apparently mutual self-delusion, but doctors get rich while kids are going to pay the price.

When I was going through puberty as a female I hated my developing breast and was embarrassed for them to be growing. I was a Tom boy and wanted to be a boy, but I never once thought about wanting a penis, or even thought about how boys look different than girls or grew up to be men. I grew out of this by age 15 became comfortable liking my female body, Today am a heterosexual, mother, wife and was always attracted to the male sex.
If I had been born today I would have been indoctrinated because I wasn’t conforming to a female gender stereotypes I was not girl, and would have been pushed to identify as a boy, non -binary or a made up gender. Western cultures are indoctrinating kids if they don’t’ conform to stereotypes then that’s a green light to change their bodies and remove healthy body parts. This is INSANITY.
I was a Tom boy when I was a kid. I had 6 brothers. When I turned 14. I accepted being a girl and became very feminine. Sometimes I had wished I were a boy because my brothers got away with not being responsible. They didn’t have to do dishes, clean or help with household chores. I got married at 19. Have been married 53 years. 3 children, 10 grandchildren
They got to the little girl across the street. Beautiful little girl with two brothers. Obviously Tom boy but clearly a beautiful girl. She declared being gay at 12 started wearing big boy clothes, gained weight, and cut her beautiful curly golden locks off into a very unflattering boys hair cut. It breaks my heart every time I see her. Not to mention she clearly has learning disability and speech problems. She is in no way able to process this by herself and how her parents haven't put their foot down is even more concerning. So sad

The fact that people are preying on children is so mind-boggling, I can't even speak.
The entire medical industry preys on children. We went from 6 childhood 💉 in the 50s to 74 doses of various childhood 💉 in our current era. I already do. I did before but I saw it with a family member of my husbands. She became depressed at about 15, suicidal. She stayed in antidepressants for years. Gained unbelievable weight. She began her transition after her 30’s , but announced to her mother she was a lesbian at 16. Come to find out she was raped at 13 by a family member and nothing was ever done bc his dad died when he was little and everyone felt sorry for him. That’s bull, she had to face him every gathering. He never matured and neither did she. She paid for her own transition. Has been mentally unstable since her 30’s. She is also mentally immature. I was molested myself but validated and he went to prison. I assume he died there. But even though I was validated I still had feelings of dirtiness, worthless , fear of others finding out. But I made it through with full support from my parents. It made a difference. I could have been one of the LGBT’s victims. Thank God I wasn’t:

I'm not Christian. In fact (while I respect individual Christians, and everyone's right to believe what they choose) I reject "trans" ideology, and the idea of sex-independent "gender", for EXACTLY THE SAME REASON that I reject Christianity, Islam, Scientology, and every other religion.
Because "gender" relies on the exact same, 100% perfectly identical standard of evidence as Christianity (and ALL religions).
Like all religions, "gender" doesn't use ANY SHRED of objective, verifiable, physical, empirical evidence, to discern """the truth"""; Instead, it relies ONLY on "but it FEEELS true, to me" (backed up with maybe some unverifiable theorizing, if you're lucky), to decide what is/isn't """truth"""

But we ended up paying out of pocket for a guy and he was amazing. Actually helped. And some people really do need that kind of help. While I think a lot of people dont really need it and meditations are often overprescribed, if you really need it and can get correctly prescribed it can literally change your life.

I made an off-hand comment about "alphabet soup" which wasn't the most sensitive phrase, but this is what I meant: there are some serious issues that divide the various experiences all being lumped together in "LGBTQIA2S+" and that amalgam is purely a political construction.
Don't be concerned for using the term "alphabet soup!" They make up all sorts of disingenuous terms. Absolutely...I was a huge tomboy growing up...a larger girl than other girls my age. My brother got a lot of attention just because he was one that would carry on the family name so girls in our family were not as important basically. I at one time wanted to be a boy just because I wanted to be just as important...this brings on several reasons why today's kids would be taken into one of these and begin to be part of an experiment...today I'm completely a girl, have had 3 children and I am thanking God I was born in 1970 . This is certainly going to make a lot of money for the psychology industry in the future.
It's not just gay kids. I wished so many times I was a boy. It seemed like they had more fun stuff and more freedoms. Thank goodness I had a mom that laughed at me and told me I could play with the boys when they let me but that's it. I've been married 47 years. Im a mom of 3 and a grandma. I think what's been overlooked and not talked about is sexual abuse of gays and trans kids.

I was basically a child transvestite but everyone wore jeans and workshirts in the seventies. I wore my brothers hand-me-downs and loved them! Cords, jeans, flannel shirts. No sisters. No I did not wear their under garments. We did a lot of camping, hiking and biking together. When I started working at age 12, I was able to buy my own clothes. I bought Junior Women's colthes but we still wore our staples: Levis shrink-to-fit 501 men's jeans and shirts from the Army Surplus Store. I bought a horse too. In these days they would have turned me into a sterile man! And my parents would have had no say? I thought my parents were dumb in those days! Now I appreciate them for being so wise and teaching us so much. We always worked! I have never wanted to be a man. My psychiatrist father would be hitting the roof if he were here today! Why are so many young women becoming men? 4000% increase in transgender women to men; 1000% increase in men to women.

There's lots of videos on the WHY. Social media, easy access to online corn, mostly shows women in one light: pornofied silly bimbos with big chest and bottom, tiny waist, big hair, lots of makeup, and very girly. Women are treated terribly in corn. Young men have these kinds of expectations of girls/young women. Who wants to be a woman when that's the only acceptable option, or you'll be seen as a dirty dyke or nerd or fatty or ugly wallflower. I'm in my mid thirties so luckily I didn't grow up in today's digital climate. I don't think anyone who is over 30 can really know what it's like to grow up the way young people these days have. When you're an insecure and awkward teenager and all you're seeing online is stereotypically attractive people with one option for your sex, with women being treated like things in corn, with very high beauty standards, with online bullying, less social stuff going on irl (in my country the number of dance clubs (disco) has reduced by something like 40% over the past ten years or so), and there always being someone with a camera around you (smart phone), ... I bet puberty sucks real bad these days. As a gnc woman, I'd too try to escape what is presented as the only/main option for me as a woman.
