Hotel Sultania Istanbul

Hotel Sultania is a deluxe boutique hotel in Istanbul's old city, recently named the top travel choice for 2023 by Tripadvisor. The harem-themed hotel is located on a pedestrian street, within walking distance of popular attractions. The rooftop restaurant and breakfast service are exceptional, and the staff are professional. Rooms are comfortable and decorated in Ottoman style. Although our room was small, it was decent and could accommodate the rollaway bed we requested at no additional cost. Check-in was easy, and breakfast had a decent selection. The rooftop restaurant offered a spectacular view of the old town. The hotel is a two-minute walk from where you can be dropped off due to the one-way street. The pedestrian area is convenient, and many eateries are nearby.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it if you plan to stay in the old town. If you prefer modern shopping, the Sofitel at Taksim Square is a great choice, with the busiest street and shopping area, Istiklal Ave, just a stone's throw away.
